Do we know if any of the Fossilizers will make it into the Netflix show? Or do we think the show will focus on the OG Beast Wars characters/Siege crew?

 

I wonder why they didn't at least give Vertebreak a gun mode or something. He feels like the odd man out.

 

Probably cuz of budget. Core already has a tight budget being at a $10 price point, it’s kinda hard to make a triple changer that’s convincing enough.

Huh. Didn't know the red parts were clear in initial images. Pre-ordered this one and Transmutate. Kind of sold on all the ugly colors lol so I'm hoping the ninja dude gets some as well.

all reek to me of skidplate covering RE: not bothering to include instructions, as they've become wont to with oddball combos, see also the studio series motorcycle triplets. he's pointing at a dedicated combiner headpart and going "nah mang it's not meant to be, you're just imagining it because he told you to". with all the budgetary minmaxing hasbro loves as they give us deluxes at the mega pricepoint (or worse when they can get away with it), I'll not be convinced that the particular parts that make that head happen are things that just happened by chance and that this "mark" fellow totally pulled the idea out of his aft at the last second before the broadcast because he sees people online doing their own mashups. while the exact arrangement may have been his own, doing something like that is absolutely intentional at least as of wingfinger being designed, even if they didn't fully have that idea going with the previous two (though stuff like the posthole in the roof of ractonite's mouth that's hard to get most other parts into due to teeth nearby minimizing clearance certainly alludes to the idea that the gears were turning. it's not even used to hold something else steady like in paleotrex's case or the peg/socket being used in the body segment)

 

I've tried to like the Fossilizers, but I'm not really into bone deco. But I do like the recolours. I was interested in Skellivore but I'm not sure I want another Siege Megatron. On his own he would have been bought on sight.

Tricranius, though,was an instant preorder. I'm not really interested in the blast effects (and the rumours of them having a melty plastic effect is a bit off-putting), but that magma deco is awesome.. Give us regular Ractonite and the others in similar colours and I'll build up a little Fossilizer team soon enough.

 

Call me a dum dum, but I've seen Tricranius on a few sites. It not BBTS. Is there a reason for this?

I want to preorder it before it sells out or shoots up in price, but I'm not sure where I will be living by the time it ships, and no other sites have a pile of loot option to my knowledge.
