With thanks to Ryan King for contributions on 1987-1990. The Sunbow Marvel Archive now has Hasbro Toyfair catalogue scans for all 7 years of G1. (Along with other catalogue sections for GI Joe, Jem, Inhumanoids, Visionaries, Air Raiders, Battle Beasts and even Ninja Warriors being added).

The master list and links can be found at the archive's April Update: Sunbow and Marvel Productions Script/Storyboard Archive: April 2021 Update

Ok this is really sweet to look through. The 1986 pre-Toy Fair catalog is the best for me for two reasons - the blue Combiner parts for Superion which makes him look like Ultra Magnus and the fact that the cars were going to be split into two assortments and the 1985 cars (minus Skids) were being shopped to sell in 1986. Very cool!

Any idea if the archive would be interested in Gig Italy G1 Ads? In building a collage for my collection, I did happen to receive a large stack for many others in the G1 waves I've been sitting on. Let me know who/where I can direct them.

Ain't nobody but me on this operation. Appreciate the offer, but the focus of the archive is about the shows. I've gone on a Toyfair catalogue collecting spree as it helps to function as a primer for the shows for those who don't know characters and names etc.

No worries. When I found them, the way they were depicted brought Life & Vitality to my collages especially because the Europe line had to go so much farther in selling the product to children than in Japan or the US. Especially where the line lasted nearly as long as in Japan. Hopefully I can find a home for them as they do me no good & they are a record of our fandom ^^

As always, any production material from any of the shows produced under one or both of the two companies is welcome at the archive. If anyone is willing to help in that regard, I'm always available on either a PM here or through the Blogger contact form.

This is what truly makes the Internet the greatest creation of modern history. Archiving memories long thought lost to share with the entire planet.

Where's the articulation? And PMOP's proportions are all wrong compared to the show models.

What kind of fools does Hasbro take us for that they'd put out junk like this?!

This is such a very cool thing. So glad it exists. I have never seen that site before let alone most anything on it. *Bookmarked* for life.

That black deco on Bomb-Burst's Pretender shell is wicked. Seems like a lot of the Pretender designs had minor tweaks up until release. Splashdown's belt being the same color as the shell looks so much better than what we received.
