I hope it will be available on iPhone and released in the States!

would prefer not to have to visit Japan just to play this but I have been begging the wife to visit for some time now.

Not every kid behaves badly like Western kids... ESPECIALLY Japanese children, who are thought to be civic conscious and responsible from an early age while in kindergarten. Lol

 

You might be right. It might work well with kids in Japan; but it seems like it would need massive rework in game concept for this to work in the States.

This is not the one I\'m hopping for, I\'m waiting for the one from Certain Affinity...

 

This beta has started and I had to use an app called tunnelbear with a new google account to download the game from the Japanese Google Play store.

I started as an Autobot so I'm only privy to Autobots as characters to fight as. I had to use Google Translate a lot to understand what the different controls did. Small characters have chibi heads. I honestly don't know if this game will translate well to non-Asian markets. It took me awhile how to figure out the AR mode. It's a combo of pushing the button on the screen and then a non-intuitive part where you actually touch the screen where the target is. Interacting with the cubes on the map either open up free Energon or start a battle.
