if they did reveal of sweep and other ss 86 asap i bet sweep have 3 pack like rainmakers like someone said it 

 

It would be a shame, but even if Swoop releases this year, the Dinobots appear to be the ROTF Constructicons of SS86, with 2 or 3 of them available this year and the others available in 2022.

 

The Sweep's listing is for a single-packed Voyager, though.

 

Why is wreckgar voyager class? For a quite small bot and alt mode, my only guess is it must come with changeable junkion parts, heads and body parts to make the others. Beside that I can\'t see it being a voyager class. Make him too big and he just won\'t fit in. 

Im stoked to get him. I never bit on the reveal the shield generations scrambler altmode (and lets all pretend the power of the primes, tiny headed figure never happened) I\'ve always wanted a classic movie looking wreckgar, without paying Keith\'s fantasy club prices for him. 

Very conscious we might just be looking at a reveal the shield slightly retooled though :/

 

He was as tall as Springer in the movie if I remember correctly.

 

Yeah, even going by the scale chart he's the height of Rodimus and Springer.

Plus the junkion bike mode is scaled for other Transformers to ride, not humans so it would be a big bike for bots to ride it.

 

Likely be a Voyager box like hot rod. A deluxe class fig with more than the usual amount of accessories.

 

Or he will actually be voyager sized like he should be given that scale is a focus of studio series

 

Yeah, Junkions can ride on other Junkions like they are traditional Motorbikes. And anyways.

Here is an image of Wreck-Gar and Hot Rod. You can see that Wreck-Gar is tall.

 

I think looks bigger because of the angle... He is more into the front than Rodimus.

 

He's also kneeling slightly while Hot Rod is standing straight up. Evens out.

 

I just bought two more Scourge figures. I wonder if I'll regret this when we see the Sweep.

Doesn't look like he's any closer at all. There's no foreshortening or perspective that would imply otherwise.

I mean, I think buying duplicates of Scourge is a safe bet. At least he has toon-accurate Sweeps now.

 

But Studio Series 86 is coming with some sweeps...

He is much taller than Kup, who was a Deluxe Class Figure in SS86. So, therefore, he will be a Voyager Class Figure.

 

Which are either a) going to be identical to Scourge anyway, or b) look different than him, thereby being inaccurate. (not that there's anything wrong with that if you like your Sweeps to look different)

Either way, it doesn't preclude the practice of buying multiple Scourge to act as Sweeps. They're still going to be Voyagers, and still cost the same.

 

I mentioned it once before, but I hope they make SS Sweeps in a reformatting deco to match that upcoming Galvatron. It seems like a win-win. People that wanna army build can get several Scourges, and people that want something different can get that too. It'll still be screen-accurate one way or another.

 

Well at least paint their nails in different color so you know who the real Scourge is...✌️
