Reading through the Neca Twitter feed, it was also mentioned that they will be hitting retail eventually. I’m not 100% on today’s release. I think I prefer the S7 entertainment earth, although it’s not a cartoon version. I might wait until it hits retail in my neck of the woods (Australia). Mean while I might get a splinter /Baxter and Vernon /rat King (only just showed at retail over here).
I must say, $15 flat rate shipping, combined with having more than two goddamn offerings available at the same time, has me rethinking my decision to never preorder these again.
I'm still in the camp of really trying to not go deep into collecting these figures. I know I want that disguise set, and I think I will try and get the 1/4 movie figures, and just be done. Maybe.
I take it back then. I'm self mocking a bit because I was totally done after I got Ultimate Krang and Splinter/Baxter. But then the disguise 4-pack came along and I already know I'd buy an updated April and/or Shredder.

The scalping game here has reached new levels of awful. There's lines that are now away from the door. I'm pretty sure the card scalpers also go for some other highly desired goods too.
Target employees are scalpers too. They are obviously there when neca stocks them so they get the upper hand. But that's not the problem. The problem is neca only stocking 3 of them at a time and only restocking them.....never.
I wish every single person in the market for any collectible stuff would just absolutely refuse to buy from scalpers...even if that means you have to do without. They already fucked you by clearing off the shelves before you got there...why let them fuck you again by paying them 2x...3x...4x...5x MSRP? I think Randy said the disguise set is shipping out in 3 waves...I'm not entirely sure what he meant by that, but, hopefully that means they will be stocked multiple times at each location (as opposed to shipping out in 3 waves with each wave going to a different region). Plus, there's always the chance they might put them up for PO on their website. The scalping problem won't end or improve as long as the scalpers are raking in the money. And all of the retailer-exclusives being released these days are only making it easier for them to corner the market. It's been enough to make me want to stop collecting entirely.
This line isn't even the worst one I think. I mean gi joe has me majorly discouraged these days. I went to a walmart earlier today and it was nearly empty shelves. It is like places just don't care to even carry stock now and when they do it is bought up immediately by somebody to resell at 3 times the cost.
