I’m definitely interested since I like the sv-51 design and hopefully they learned their lesson with the legs after the Ivanov release. On the fence for now
If my guess it correct on Nora's 51, it will be the same price as Ivanoff's. @Yertle: Yamacadia screwed up on Ivanoff twice, so you think that Nora deserves better treatment right?
Congrats on the addition to your family! I know how that goes and appreciate the post here. I'd be all over some of those 19s normally but it's a tough time and I need to worry about the same kind of things...And make room and funds for stuff like this: Which yeah, I'm in on.
Hasegawa 1/48 low vis VF-1A kit: 『マクロス』現用機風ロービジビリティカラーリングで「VF-1A」が1/48スケールキット化!パッケージは天神英貴描き下ろし!! If only Bandai would make a DX VF-1A like that...
Expect reversed tail-numbers, ill-fitting pilots, non-white landing gears, and other Bandai shenanigans if they ever do...
Don't want to pay at least 25k yen for the Arcadia non-PF Strike 1s Roy? There's a HMR version for 17,080 yen (sans stand) [Item B+, Box B] AmiAmi [Character & Hobby Shop]
I could take that so long as the drawer joints are assembled correctly and/or redesigned to be sturdier.
Wow you guys weren't kidding. I ordered some plush my daughter wanted and a Vegeta statue (because I didn't want to order *just* a plushie) on Tue, and it just arrived (Pennsylvania). Downside: Shipping costs were more than the products (though I guess that is the current norm given global shipping issues). WANT. THis is has been my second-most desired piece after the YF-19. As I haven't been privy to this stuff before, how much should I be saving for preorder? Also, @deruberhanyok , my congrats on the new baby as well!
Aim for the price range to be 2.5x to 3x more than a regular DX pre-order @Morty Prime. I made the same price quote on MW (with more added damage just to kick off another member from planning to get it).
I'll try and do my best @Morty Prime, however I'll need @tekering, @FireSkyJet, @Slave IV and anyone else to help out when needed. Arcadia's stuff is known it be twice the price of the a regular DX pre-order (and its a fact). Take look at the first Arcadia YF-19 Full set release at today's prices = goes for around 20k yen on some places (which is roughly the same price as a regular DX pre-order). Here's a snapshot of Arcadia's webpage Regular non-PF (re-reissue YF-19) with a 3,608 yen deposit = Full pop at 36,080 Yen PF YF-19 with a deposit of 4,268 yen = Full pop at 42,680 Yen Hopefully that this maybe of help.
The good thing is there will be no preorder madness to worry about with Arcadia preorders. Since they are a small boutique like business, they basically make to order based on preorders (the way most collector items should ideally be done) so as long as you get in during the preorder period, you should be good and no need to be ready at the second (literally for Bandai DX).
There's no peep about a PF Ivanoff 51 yet, however be prepaired to fork out close to 50k yen for that one if it does get released @Juraash. I think the newer Ivanoff was close to $350 USD (36k yen ??) when it was listed. Now its closer to 30k yen or more on secondary retailer websites (like Manda, Jungle and AmiAmi) due to the screwed up feet @deruberhanyok. Any Macross Noobies ready for the 22nd pre-orders drop? It's time to ride the wave with us senior seasoned (old timers) Macross collectors.
Well let you know about when Nora's 51 gets closer to the pre-order date @Juraash. Edit: This also includes @Morty Prime as well. Websites to pick when pre-orders are announced: HLJ, AE, Amazon.jp, Aracdia's website, Amiami and Proxies (hopefully that you have a Tenso address as they will not ship out of Japan).
@deruberhanyok Congrats on the new wee one! So my main plastic fix supplier just put up a preorder for a Kitz Concept VF-1J with GBP. Despite my overwhelmingly meh feelings towards my normal VF-1J from them, and setting myself a rule of one of each type of Valkyrie, I went and placed an order. It looks pretty badass. Looks to have articulated hands for the GBP and comes with missile-firing effects. And it's the VF-1J. I don't know why but I just love the VF-1J.
