You can file some of the thumb knuckle off for some articulation. The first pic is probably the max thumb span you'll get out of the thumb after filing it otherwise you'll probably make it too fragile/non-functional. The 2nd pic is a comparison from the stock vs. the filed mod I did and the third is the factory thumb span.
But I did get him to hold an empty bottle of Jameson   He might be able to hold the sword better too once I finish the other thumb.

I got the same response. They sent me a paid shipping lable so I would not be out anything.

Mine has a bad/weak left hip ratchet that makes it kinda sketchy to stand on its own. It is livable. Especially if I just keep it on the stand. But I thought I'd try for perfect.

Hasbro customer care global manager (top of the food chain) said they have only 16 units remaining (as of yesterday afternoon) but could not 100% guarantee that if I send mine in, that they will have a replacement availablewhen it got there. Though, she was very confident there would be. I asked about just sending parts but all remaining units are sealed and in an off site warehouse. There is no cracking one opened and disassembling for parts. Which makes perfect sense. I also suggested just buying one, shipping it now and after receiving it and confirming it defect free, sending my defective one back and getting a refund. But, the remaining units are "not for sale" and there is nothing in their system to make that sale possible. Which also makes sense. Since there is no way for them to "flag/reserve" a unit for a replacement, there are very few available, there is no way of knowing if said replacement would be defect free or worse off from the one I have and even though they have a notation on my claim to return my original unit to me if no replacementis available, there is no guarantee they can do that and would most likely end up issuing a refund, I'm not sure I want to do it.

 

I’m in Ottawa Canada and this just showed up on my porch. No signature as expected during Covid. But also no surprise taxes which is awesome.

Am I the first in Canada to receive this or is everyone else still staring at the massive box in disbelief instead of posting here?

Yep, I had separate deliveries. One week apart.

Good to know. However, that is exactly what I'm worried about. I don't want to send mine in, and just get a refund. I'm not nearly as happy with the figure as everyone else seems to be, but I still don't want a refund. Some people got free figures (of varying levels of worth), and I guess some can just return it and hope for the best? I'm amazed at how bad a multi-billion dollar company is at handling this. Bracing myself for the Razorcrest crapfest that seems inevitable.

Strange that the person missing the head actually got it, but they don't have open boxes or spare parts for the rest of us.

I never got an email from Hasbro or FedEx. It just showed up randomly. And I’m really glad I’m working from home!

Hasbro really needs to fix their emails. You can’t leave a $900 box sitting on the porch for who knows how long.

 

Never got an email either. Didn't have to sign anything, no customs (unless they plan on sending me an invoice later which fedex sometimes does).
