What's your tracking number look like? Start/end with? How many digits? I've gotten a few tracking numbers that didn't work and managed to figure it out because of added digits or prefix being changed in the system for one reason or another.

 

I ordered Thomas from them around Thanksgiving. It got here (Las Vegas) in about 4-5 weeks. And it had the correct knees.

I just got Smokey from them yesterday. $169 shipped, free shipping, arrived 9 days after ordering (and I bought it on a Sunday, so there was probably at least one wasted day amongst the nine days). I’ve had two great experiences with them and consider them as legit as can be. Smokey is fantastic btw. As good as the DX9 Drag Strip was, this one is even better.

Also, I got a weird tracking number and info for Smokey. It was very Pitney Bowes esque. Tracking showed shipping label created in Compton, CA, waiting for item. Didn’t make a difference in the end. It still arrived pretty fast. Buy with confidence.

 

Well mine did moved in Georgia this morning with the tracking number that I got order on 4/6

 

yeah those weird tracking numbers may be the USPS ones. You basically cant track it till it reaches the USPS destination in the states. For example, my thomas still shows waiting to arrive in US.
I had something arrive like this a while back ((cant remember which store) and it was here no worries so not super concerned.

 

I've noticed 8 digits always get added on to the tracking numbers when it finally gets updated in the USPS system so drop the first 8 off and it works. USPS numbers start with 9 and are 22 digits so that's what to look for. Other than this I've had the letter prefix of the China tracking number change leaving the original number not working and tried changing it getting to a working number. Weird stuff if you ask me!

I'm jealous! My order was in and shipped from ShowZ well before people jumped on the heat toy deal and I still dont have mine! It hasn't even made it to the states as far as the tracking shows and you guys paid over $30 less and are receiving already, this is awesome to see how good of a seller they are!

 

Finally bit the bullet on this guy from tfsource since i had alot of source points built up and saved $75 on him gonna look great on my shelf once he arrives

I cannot seem to get the booster cover part to seat correctly. Not sure if this has been covered yet in the thread. Any tips?

 

You just need to snap the piece with the tailfin down fully. Not much of a trick to it, just have to make sure all the tabs line up and give it a solid push.

 

The two tabs that go into the shoulders had mushroomed. A little shave helped. But definitely had to push harder than I would like. Noticing a trend with fanstoys (only my second purchase from them). Super tight tolerances.

 

I got mine last night, it took a little more than two weeks to get here, not bad at all. I was part skeptical, part terrified but Heat Toys came through. Thanks again to Blingotron for looking out for fellow collectors.

 

My heat toys TomTom made it. I'm not seeing an issue with the knees. Does that only happen after transformation? What are the key areas to be wary of during transformation? His thumbs are super tight so I'm hoping they don't need to move
