I think with SS being marketed as the most accurate attempts I think it’s fine, which is why I’m ok with Hotrod. But mainline stuff is a lot more annoying to have be fiddly.

I don't know if this is breaking rule 7 but screw it. TFW asked the worst, most softball questions. I mean, right off the bat, other sites are asking about Hasbro's plans to address stock issues and whether Generations is going to be expanded and what format it will be taking going forwards. Then you get TFW asking if they're going to finish early G1. I mean, seriously? Of course they are. We all know they are. To think they might not is beyond stupid. That was a question that did not, in any way, need asking.

no they didn’t. The article is a bit misleading. Reread it. They know who hasn’t been made and that’s all

I like that more figures in retro packaging is a possibility.

Honestly I think that a large amount of the WFC figures are really fun to transform. Out of everything I have, the beast wars ones are definitely fiddly, the one siege seeker I have isn't super fun to mess with, paleotrex is easy as hell, Warpath is a little fiddly but fits together really nicely, spinister is really fun to transform, runamuck is fun but has some tolerance issues, and snapdragon is super fun and easy to transform.

Gotta get that last mall santa comment in, I see! :lolol

Great article. Hope that Hasbro engages like this going forward.

Really... you don't think "hover mode" with the feet is awesome! I'm in my 40's and I have done more jet effect sounds than I think I ever did as a child with that toy (exaggeration but still).

On the question of whether the Beast Wars line will still have appearances in future lines of figures after finishing the WFC trilogy, he does not answer much, but hopefully confirm, to have my wallet ready. lol

So you want them to undo 10 years of rising oil and steel prices?

This has me very excited. Out of all of them, Menasor (and specifically Motormaster) would've been my top choice for getting a redo.
Devastator is up there too, but mostly for the sake of better (and smaller) individual Constructicons. Things like elbows should be standard issue.

    Cyclonus, yes.
But Earthrise Arcee is not Studio Series quality, nor is she movie accurate. She's more movie inspired or Season 3 adjacent.

That's not what he's talking about, he's talking about the transformations. Less fiddly, less precise parts fitting, and more simplistic and rugged. I love SS86 Hot Rod but I will concede he's not a toy I can just pick up and transform on the fly. He takes a few minutes of fine finagling, rather than something from the UT era that has a simple, smooth conversion.

That said there's still plenty of TFs that still offer that fun chunky simplicity. SS86 Grimlock is big, simple, yet good and fun to transform. Cyclonus also feels smooth and fantastic.

What do you think of the Titans answer? Will it end, continue, or go to Haslab?

Add Omnibots, Targetmasters, and Headaster Jr.s to the list for sticking the landing!!!!

My guess for remaining SS86 is: remaining Dinobots, Brawn, Perceptor, Blaster, his cassettes, Wheelie, Blitzwing, Insecticons, and Constructicons. They all had scenes albeit brief in the movie That could be used for box art.

Buzzsaw, the 6 remaining 84-85 minibots, and Skids can be sold in the main line of the next trilogy

Yes because those factors have also made engineers unable to design cars and buildings better than before, right? Designs are designs, how you get from one mode to the other has nothing to do with oil prices.

That's why I like the Siege Datsuns model over the fiddly Earthrise Datsuns model. That Siege model practically transforms itself. With Siege, I don't have to worry about shattering a kneecap or hitting the angles precisely in the transformation.

Oh ok so you mean complex. I personally feel like they are at a great level of complexity that is really fun to mess with and I have yet to break any of the WFC figures in any way but maybe I am not as rough with them as you are.

I stopped collecting around 2010 as a teenager because I felt that the figures were too simple to be fun anymore and I hated how much characters vary in size from one another. To me WFC is what I always wanted and is why I came back.

You're comparing kids toys to cars. And cars are going up in price too.

I'm surprised no one asked them about the two commanders a year for $100 rumor or was that disproven already?
