My review of the big boy should be up soon, been having some fun with him though. Here's a little picture I did.

 

I built a shelf and have Unicrons stand locked down with Velco wrapped around the front and back.. Added a smart flood light and painted the wall. When I ask Alexa, where's unicron? The Unicron melody plays and lights flicker orange and purple.

 

He was disassembled so the Aerialbots could do a photo shoot.

The photoshoot didn't stop Jetfire from making it. Some bots just have their shit together better than other bots  

 

Magnet activated LEDs from ebay.
I wrapped in foil that was pushed flush to the front above the eye mechanism to help avoid bleed through. Eye mechanism still functions.

 

I really like those clean looking, adjustable shelves you’ve got; And the balanced look you’ve achieved with the titans on the outsides.

Looks great. I’ll speak on behalf of all of us here and say that we’d also enjoy seeing shots of each section of your setup!

Gotta admit, he's a lot smaller than I expected? He's also very simple, just folds up like a Headmaster or McDonalds Happy Meal McChangables toy. Dunno why it's taking people hours to convert.

I realized I've been postin in the wrong thread   I've done some more panel lining on the left leg. Still plenty more to go but I removed the panels since I needed em off to paint he legs and we had a crash from the back pack coming loose while painting on the stand (he shakes when you barely touch him).

I also modified the thumb to as far as I think you can go but he has some more "wing span" at the thumb.
Ever wondered why Lithone was taken out and then Cybertron after a slumber? It was a drunken drunker awoken in a rage that would consume the cosmos!

What a figure! I'm massively impressed with it in the plastic (UK here so we've had to wait rather longer than many of you).

Those joints that the arms sit on though - woah, that really feels like something to watch out for. I saw some poor guy on here had one of the hinges broken out of the box. The ratchets are crazy tight and I can just feel that plastic wanting to bend - terrifying!

Brilliant though. Just brilliant. Yes he's all very shellformer-y, but I really don't care, he just works so well!

 

I’m gonna contradict step 36 of the instructions here, but: I think it’s best to never rotate the shoulders unless they’re fully connected, and only disconnect them when the arms are pointed straight back. Doing what the instructions said made me fear for the lives of the two transformation hinges in each shoulder.

 

Fully agree. Step 36 is trying to make you break the figure. I have no idea who on the Hasbro team that was a smart way to do it. Probably want people to break them at this point.

 

Just received this beast today. Man does he have some presence. I've noticed a number printed onto this right inside calf. I've got 03161 anyone got anything different? The same?
