Well my dad got most of his money after I scared my sister of what legal action I can bring her and trying to use my mental health as an excuse to supposedly prove my incompetent. I got my doctors to aid me against her if she ever try to fuck with me.

 

That is a good start. Getting your doctors involved is even better. Now you are starting to be prepared in case she does try anything. I would prepare documentation of anything you may need for a case against her; documents, notes, messages, texts, emails, etc., just to be prepared. Also, look into an attorney to see if she has been taking your dad’s money for... her own gain. Again, documentation would be best to show what she has been up to. This is just my advice, so take it however you want to.  

 

Often a higher salary isn't worth the bullshit and stress that will accompany it. And up at the top are the assholes that stepped on people and played the political games to get where they are. In other words, not the people you want to be working with. Company men and women, on their knees for a higher paycheck.

More money sounds enticing but the quality of life will drop and you have to sell a piece of your soul to get it.

Seclusion is vastly underrated. I'm starting to understand why my little brother wants to take his family to Alaska, carve out a little homestead in the wilderness, and live off the grid.

 

That can be true if you don't enjoy your field of work.

On the flipside, I love my job (& the pay check that comes with it  ). Sure it can be stressfull at times & the long hours is part & parcel of the position. I won't discourage anyone to take that next step & be outside your comfort zone.

 

We can't all be drug smugglers for cartels galvatran, ok? Scruples.

Got to work and realized I left my earphones at home.  I can get them when I go on my break but its gonna be a loooong morning without music.

 

I would actually do this if I could convince my wife to move from Sunny Florida to Frozen Alaska. Florida born and bred and she complained about how cold it was when we went to visit my family in New York and it wasn't even winter yet.  

 

I've been feeling weak since yesterday. I think I'm just exhausted mentally and it's affecting my body.

I'm trying to keep taking care of my dad but I just don't have the strength to keep on going. I've told everyone this and they don't care.

 

I wouldn’t mind Alaska, though I’m thinking more heavily of New England and perhaps Ireland, where many of my ancestors came from, as what’s been done to the forests and original peoples of Alaska in the name of oil and such, would, well.... Remind me a little too much of what I was fleeing from to start with, and frankly, kinda break my heart.

Regardless of where I end up, the fewer humans on average, the better.

I'm a full grown man, living on my own, have been for a long time. Yet if my mom ever talks to me about Transformers it is to say I have too many, she doesn't think it is normal to have them, save money, get rid of them, stuff like that. Makes me feel like I'm a kid again, getting yelled at for something.

Does anyone else have to deal with something like this because they collect Transformers?

Not me personally, but I've had adult friends that have this issue, and basically the way they deal with it is by blowing off whatever parental figure is making said comments or basically telling them that their a grown adult now and that what they spend their money on is none of their damned business.

 

Not TFs but with videogames. I keep telling her to leave them alone, don't discuss about them and she should be thankful I have them because I wanted to commit suicide when I was 12 because she left my dad for some cocaine using, child molesting asshole. Everyone could see how her leaving affected me.

 

No, but that's because I only talk to my mom 2-3 times a year, if that. Frankly, I couldn't care less what my mom would have to say because while I may be required to care about her through genetics, she, my dad, and my brother, are not my REAL family as far as I am concerned.
