I also had to switch mine. It wasn’t too hard of a job.

Can I know how can I take the hand out from here? I would like to swap hands. Anyone has experience doing this?

I took some of mine out before. They just slide in and out but some require a lot of effort to get out. I took the arm apart to have better access for one hand and had to use a hammer and punch.
Try heating the plastic in hot water first, be careful of the fingers and thumb, they break easy.

I would first lubricate it, then start twisting it left and right, while trying to slide it out at the same time.
And yes, the fingers can break easily, so it might be a good idea to remove them first (removing the screw on the palm will make it easy).

You mean you punch the hand out with a hammer (rubber hammer I presume), and then punch a new hand in the same way? May I ask how do you punch the hand out without breaking the fingers and thumb?

About taking the arm apart, I am trying to do it but without success. I had loosen the only screw on the arm, but the whole arm is super tight to tear apart. Are they tied down with a clip or something?

Do you mean lubricate it with Silicone Shock Oil? You were able to slide the hand out from the arm by just twisting left and right without tearing apart the arm?

Man that weathered constructor looks so good. I don't know if I had the space for ANOTHER constructor...

No I mean I use a hammer and punch. Such as like this...
    Screenshot_20210415_215120.jpg
First I took the hand out of the arm then inserted a punch into the gap and whacked it with the hammer. Some of the hands I had were so tight I couldn't even turn them.

I put a drop of silicone oil on each wrist and gently worked the joint until they moved freely.

All of my Constructor wrists move fine now (as does the shovel and crane assemblies on Scavenger and Scrapper)

Anyone here has both TW-C07 and TW-C07X and can show them side and side? Another question is which one do you think is better?

Well if you search for Constructor on Showz's site you can see the difference. From personal experience, the original was made with darker purple versus a lighter more vibrant for the X. I think the X version is sturdier and better built, but that is my opinion of course. The thighs on the original came with the green color ones and the grey ones versus the X which was not made with the green thighs. I think those are the biggest differences and for me I prefer the X. I sold my original about 2 years ago.

Just to point out, the greens are the same. That's not obvious with these pictures.

Does anyone know if ToyWorld are actually producing more of Constructor at the moment? If so, which version, colour etc? As I said some time ago, I really wish they'd consider making a green mixer barely and green thighs available again for those of us with the X version. Don't get me wrong, I really like the grey thighs and purple barrel - it would just be nice to swap them around from time to time.

I am surprised to learn that TW-C07X is actually using different (and better) built material as compared to the TW-C07 (v2) one. I always love a more sturdier figure. Does TW-C07X fix all the problems on TW-C07 (v2)?

The original set did, but recent X versions have come in plastic shells instead of foam, and people have had problems.

Otherwise, I'd say that it addressed a lot if issues, but it wasn't issue-free. I had to trim a hip spring, for example.
