That ER Ironhide alt mode is such a mess. The 3rd party feet are a lot better, but then you end up with weird black and red back windows. I suppose you could paint the windows black, but then the side of the van has similar window issues. Even if you paint the side windows black, you have that leftover clear window and then the black box from the shoulder.  

They also shouldn't have added the windshield wiper blade. It really doesn't serve a purpose.

 

What is a good Double Dealer Upgrade kit for the legs?

 

So can anyone be tell me who was making the seige seeker top fins? I’m late to the party...

 

There... Kinda isn't one. We had high hopes for the 115 Utopia kit that came out a month or so ago but most in hand reports say it's garbage tier. Poor fitting 3d parts and the new mushroom peg that makes the knee is kinda awful.

Reprolabels has one that comes bundled with stickers for corresponding Seekers. But the piece isn't color matched, requiring some of the stickers to blend better with the toy. I bought their set for Red Wing and the fin doesn't stay in very securely either, sadly...

There's another company out there with a whole body kit, including top fin to attached all over the vehicle mode to make it look more like the Dreamwave Era tetra jet. But each kit comes in a solid color and would need substantial paint work to make it look good on the toy it's being applied to.

... And as I understand it, the pieces don't really do anything for the robot mode, just get set aside.

 

Toyhax did. Label and fin sets. The fins left much to be desired (color provided primarily by undersized stickers) and had qc issues (asymmetry being the main one). You can check to see if they have any left in stock for the seeker you have in mind.

There's always the Go Better kit, which is beyond extreme:


There are some listings for just the tail fin part of this set, though. Search starscream upgrade on ebay and see what's still left.

 

How does that work in robot mode by the way?

That's always a turn off for me. Turning into weapons get a pass but just adding loose kibble is not my jam.

 

Any good fillers for kingdom Ultra magnus' shoulders yet? That's really the only thing he absolutely needs in my opinion

Anyone know of any good quality SG faction logo stickers? Want to get some for Rodimus Unicronus but don't like the reprolabels option of covering his whole chest

I also just noticed that his stock photos show him having an SG Autobot symbol but in-hand photos show him with a Decepticon symbol... weird.

I assume they couldn't make up their minds over the various test and showcase builds.
