The Astro Squad Micromasters that come with the Botropolis set are just the right complementary additions to Overair and Astroworks.

Missile Master and Moonrock are an excellent redeco, slight retool of the Siege Battle Squad. I love the gunmetal grey torso for Missile Master with the blue medallions on his chest. He also has the better headsculpt of these two.
Poor Moonrock just has a badly applied splotch of blue on his face, whose features aren’t even all that defined in this mold (just like Direct-Hit from Siege). And I didn’t really notice this until I was editing the pics, but my Moonrock looks like he drove over some moon rocks. The paint on his chest is very scratched up.
Not sure if it came out of the box like that or from me rolling it around during play (which wasn’t a lot as of yet), but I can easily touch that up. I’m not that bothered by it, just making a note of it. But out of these two, Missile Master is my favorite and the best looking one.

Since I have the NASA version of these figures in Fuzer and Blast Master, I actually renamed these two. From left to right we have Launchpad and Lift-Off. I don’t like using the same names for certain characters, especially when I can use them all with the same set which I will show off later.
Launchpad and Lift-Off are pretty sweet recolors of the molds. I love the silver and black combo on Launchpad. The shade of red used on both of them is very nice. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems like Lift-Off stands upright better than Blast Master does.


I really like this alt mode. The retooled missile rack is the coolest change to this set. The missile is detachable for launch purposes. It can peg in elsewhere in their combined “weapon” mode, but it would’ve been cool if it could’ve tabbed to Missile Master’s arm in bot mode.


I was already a fan of this shuttle mode too. My copy of Fuzer and Blast Master holds together fine, but this set feels more tight and secure for some reason. Not complaining.

It’s a lot of fun putting all of these figures together in different ways. The colors and accessories used for this set (most specifically the huge rocket) look outstanding. The Astro Squad is just the right finishing touch for this set.
