It was a holiday tradition along with the classic Eat'n Park holiday commercial, which they have aired every year since 1982.

(It's a Pittsburgh-area family restaurant chain, FYI.)

Exclusives very rarely show up at discounters, because they are made to order based on what the store (Walmart) initially wanted. The only reason they do go to discounters is if the retailer cancels the order after hasbro makes the items but before they ship them out. In my 15 years of collecting various Hasbro lines i've only seen it reported a few times: the GI Joe RoC cancelled target exclusives were the only large shipment. I've seen a handful of online only exclusives (the ones that go to BBTS/EE) and handfuls of small quantities of random items, like the Walmart GI Joe RoC 2 packs. The Netflix UM mystery box was a perfect storm of bad idea, over production, and a barely wanted repaint of a toy on the shelves at the same time.

I doubt the Netflix figures will show up, if nothing else than Walmart got two distinct shipments of each wave. If they were going to show up at discounters we wouldn't have seen restocks.

Restock? Leaders have yet to show up at Ollie's in my state, so this is a first.

 

Same where I live. I stopped by this morning and they had about 8 of each on the shelves. Didn't notice anything else new.

 

I'm not seeing them listed in the flyer for my local Ollie's.

That's good news. I never saw the leaders back when everyone else was seeing them but I'll check my local Ollie's later and hopefully snag one.

 

I stopped at my Ollie's right after they opened. Someone cleared out all the Optimus Primes and left the Doubledealers. I suspect the owner of the toy store down the street may have been there already. Bummer, I was hoping for an Astrotrain and I can't think of anything to do with another Dealer.

 

Poking around their site, it seems some location have weekly sales starting on Wednesdays and others on Thursdays. If yours is a Thursday location, they may be there tomorrow.

That kind of sucks. I made sure I was there at the open just in case, because I know there are local scalpers who were buying up everything at Ross in December and putting them right up on FB marketplace.
