Someone at Amazon Japan recently (yesterday) changed the URL for new Transformers products listings.

It used to be this:

Paint chips? MP-01 1st release of mine has the paint flaking off the angled thin parts all over (can't do anything about it anymore) but to counter that folks, I own several Soul of chogokins of the Bandai type. My Danguard Ace does have a paint chip on the soles of his die-cast feet(though when his lower torso fell off to the floor due to his funky locking mechanism, nothing chipped off) which probably was due to natural wear and friction (you'd think that part should just have been plastic or something but it has to also support his frame) and the paint over all, though not chipped on the torso is showing signs of corrosion. Natural process? Toshio Daimos' leg panel due to the design, has a chip because the part of his painted leg that has a sharp peg that folds is prone to friction upon getting out of the box. His shoulder rotators are painted. Yup! The part that is prone to movement due to the poseability is PAINTED. So it gets chipped off. Design snafu?

Also, sweeping generalizations/stereotyping indeed does not help. 100%

 

See my prior message as to why you are seeing different results. The site gives you different sellers based on your shipping address. If I switch to my Japanese address I see many sellers including Amazon Japan. USA address, just one seller who doesn't ship outside of Japan.

 

Off topic, but where is Robot Kingdom based out of? Their price is so cheap but I assume shipping must be high to the US or something. I have been a die hard customer of HLJ since MP-10 came out but I can’t argue with cheaper prices.

 

I love it! I do hope they paint his arms and head the same shade of blue as the rest of him. The original toy had all the same shade. Not unless that's not what they were going for.

Well this is strange, the MP is less cartoon accurate than the 3P? I wonder if they deliberately changed the aesthetic because frankly there's not much they could add to XTB's design other than a better head and some extras.

My Xtransbot Skids is great and toon accurate and not overly complicated to transform. Better than the offical. Support both offical and third party but this one doesn\'t even give the XTB a run for its money
