This is what I'm going to start telling people is happening every time I hear back from them about the Seekers: "Guys, get your POs in now. Apeface is on the way."

Does anyone think that they will reissue Utopia or are some of the older molds unlikely to ever see the light of day again?

Oh, they'll send you a notice days after it's come into stock to let you know that they shipped it. TF Source does nothing quickly.

That said, I did finally crack and buy one of them myself this morning. I spent about an hour thinking about a conversation I had with ShowZ where they said that this was a very limited release and that they're not sure that they'll be able to get anymore to sell. This got me thinking about the possibility that this could become quite a coveted piece.

So, I figured I'd grab one and wait to see if either they complete the off-brand set of the purple, green and yellow Seekers or if this ends up becoming the premiere version of Acid Storm, maybe it'll take a solid bump in value and be worth the $149 price-tag.

Ogled this thread after checking their desolate social media pages and I pray it ain't so. Those cross dimension figures are some of my all time favorites, and the battle tanker/mobine figures were what got me into 3rd Party in the first place. Not trying to look back a decade from now thinking Rioter Galcatron was a figment of my imagination (even though theres a chance it'll be that way whether they bounce back or not)

I like their figures, but at this point I'm going with the assumption that they are dead and we won't see any new molds from them. I'll be happy to be proven wrong, but I need something more than repaints and reissues to truly believe they are back.

Would be nice if they sold off the Highbrow design to YesModel like they did the other two headmasters. We will never get Brainstorm but this guy looked close to completion.

The fact that the MT website is offline and no longer works is pretty much the writing on the wall.

Same. That’s the only MT product I really want.

Well, and finishing off the Autobot Headmasters, but that’s a much heavier lift.

I don't think a website going down is any news on demise. They cut all their online sales back in 2019, and even then they weren't updating their site with new pictures.

Fanstoys site has said something cool is coming soon for year.

Maketoys, stop dicking us around and release the last two Coneheads, and then...
Then you have my permission to die.

Fact that we probably won't be getting their Galvatron is disappointing, closest thing to an IDW design I've seen for him

Takeaways from a phone call just a moment ago with a sales rep:

Acid Swarm's shipping notice tracker says he should be in-stock this week (I plotted out a more exact timeline of when I was told there was a shipping confirmation on MT Downbeat and it took almost exactly 50 days for him to be stocked after that; Acid Swarm is at about day-48, I think, since I was told there was confirmation.)

Meteor EX is 'still on schedule' for May.

Speculative that the Coneheads will likely get done before Lightning and Skycrow will be reissued, but it was a 'yes' to all four of those figures also happening (I am very hopeful that they'll do the Seekers reissues in between Meteor, Booster and Jetstream, but that's just wishful thinking on my part.)

Sunstorm also came up, as did Hotlink. Assumptions were that in the not-near future, all three of the generic Seekers would be released. It sounded like Sunstorm might even have been fully produced but not released? This was a bit harder to make sense of and I forgot to circle back around to get any really concrete answer on this, plus my assumption was that it was all based on the understanding that things change and there is no 'central hub' of news for an exact confirmation.

Anyway, I put in an order for Acid Swarm to play a hunch that he may end up being a decent collector's piece, so if nothing happens in the next week or so, none of this is likely to mean anything. And in the event that he is released, as stated, I'd guess that each subsequent product becomes much more likely to happen.

Gundog 2Y is arguably my collection favorite. I love everything about that figure.

I thought they had already done sunstorm through a Kickstarter, and tried to do nacelle or whoever, and that one failed.

That's what this is in reference to. I don't know if it meant that it was 'done' as in they did a crowdfund, but it didn't go anywhere or 'done' as in they did a crowdfund, produced a figure and one day in the near-future, will release it.

The generic Seekers were just part of the speculative conversation - excluding Acid Swarm, obviously.
