Thank you!!! This was by sure the biggest project in size and work we have done yet and for sure took a whole lot of trial and error. For awhile we weren't sure it could be done lol but finally got there

I am going to try to hunt down a color that's fairly close to Unicron's spike strips so I won't have to paint this. This is fantastic! Thank you for taking the initiative and following through on so many fans' request!

Quick question. The shelf pins that you talking about in the instructions, are they like the kind that have that metal in the middle so you know where to stop or more like a dowel pin?

I don't own Unicron. Does he really shellform that much to be able to have his planet mode completely removed from his bot mode to display separately (with the help of your design obviously)? That's actually pretty wild. He looks tons better now. Great job.

Once again, I've gotta say - this is a real home run. How hard would it be to get the wings similar to the factory wings? I know NOTHING about this stuff, and can imagine all the intricate little crevasses might literally be impossible with a 3d printer.

    Sincerely,
    Someone in awe!

Great job and a fantastically practical idea! And, that’s really generous of you to make this stuff freely available to people. The only downside is that I would now need twice as much display space for Unicron...lol...but I’m at least getting two toys for the price of one.

Mouschi, the wings and almost the entire figure were original were designed in 3d printing so it's very doable. The one thing you would likely NOT do with the 3d printer is put in those "caverns" in the wings. They likely did that to reduce the weight, save some cost, and give it a lil style all in the same shot.
With 3d printing, you'd just give it a thick wall (visible exterior of a printed part) and then give it a low in fill (interior of the part). You could imagine it kinda like how the wings are now but if you covered those caverns so you can't visibly see them so same goals achieved :)

You can have them function and even transform just the same and bonus is you can style them however you like too ;)

We did consider making it exactly like the original wings but it would be a lot more filament. Also we actually liked it being a little smaller as it looked more like that in the movie. but it could be doable just would also be very intricate as you said
