Some of them are shown with their sword literally less than a handful of times, and they're not even red.

He shot it like a gun tho.

But really they should come with swords. Better than Wheelie or Daniel.

Poor Cliffjumper, he seems to have inherited Optimus's bad luck of dying all the time since TFP.

They prob want them more sunbow cartoon accurate then we what we got in WFC

Man I love Slag and this looks just as good as Grimlock, so I'm excited as hell. Give me a regular version, toy-inspired, premium silver painted, diaclone, g2, cool ranch, spicy nacho, anything. I'll buy them all lol.

Meanwhile, I'm over here waiting for HasTak to release another Dinobot from Age of Extinction.

Well, they did do them all, with Sludge and Scorn being Voyagers, so at least there's that.
It would be interesting to see if there really is a demand for them to all be done in Leaderclass. I have a feeling it won't happen, but I never thought the original Dinobots would happen in large scale after the PotP versions were done.

I'll take Wheelie and Daniel personally. More characters to put on my shelf vs. an accessory that will get tossed into a bag.

We understand perfectly. We've just grown exhausted of G1 being done again and again and again. Transformers toys are wonderfully engineered these days and I would kill to see some UT characters get some amazing toys updates. Yet, I'm constantly told to "wait my turn" by the same portion of the fanbase that's been largely catered to through toys for 15 years. I've enjoyed some of the G1 toys myself (Hell, while I discovered Transformers through the first Bay film in 2008, G1 was first thing that I watched when I discovered that Transformers was an entire brand so I grew up with it and liked it. I still like it), but I've legit grown so tired of it that I've started collecting the new BW figures and I've never even liked the show. It's just been nice to have something different.

I want to throw in a disclaimer here: I'm not trying to start a flamewar nor am I trying to be disrespectful. I'm merely throwing my two cents in.

Scorn was, and is, my favorite Voyager from the TLK line, narrowly beating the voyager Megatron. If Hasbro doesn't redo him in Studio Series, I won't mind. I jut think Studio Series Grimlock really showed just how awesome the movie Dinobots can be in toy form.

Yeah, I do think the same way that the G1 Dinobots are getting better scaled and detailed figures following the POTP set is what we're hoping for from the AOE Dinobots as well, especially after they did such an amazing Grimlock all the way back in Wave 1 of Studio Series. I would also say there's more room for improvement for the AOE Dinobots given the "concept art to toy" setup of most of the movie toylines at the time compared to Studio Series. You look at AOE Grimlock next to SS Grimlock and it's beyond night and day; SS86 Grimlock is definitely better in every way than POTP Grimlock, but besides scale the improvements are a bit more modest (since there is a finite amount of detail in the G1 design).

I've said this for a long time but upscaling TLK Voyager Scorn to Leader Class with a better paint scheme is really all they need to do for him (like how they did SS Starscream). The sculpting was already CAD model based since it was the second time around, there's not really much room for improvement in the sculpt.

Slug and Strafe likely need new Leader and Voyager Class molds respectively, but Strafe is a pretty simple design, so shouldn't be too hard.

I actually dislike SS AoE Grimlock quite fiercely. They focused on the bot mode and sacrificed the dino mode, which he's shown in 95% of the time. Plus, the hip pieces fall off, and he just isn't good as a dino.
    But this is off topic...

Slag was my first G1 Dinobot toy, and was my favorite too mainly because the Triceratops was my favorite dinosaur. I also liked how he was the only Dinobot who argued with Grimlock. The others just blindly did what Grimlock said.

Poor Sludge was the dumbest of the dummies.

I'm pretty sure we're overthinking this Snarl thing. Yes, he is technically in the movie and yes, he is strangely absent for most of the Dinobot scenes, but I don't think any of that is relevant to whether or not he'll get a new toy. The Dinobots are, next to the Constructicons, arguably the most iconic Transformers team and Hasbro have been good about completing sets of characters in recent years. Given that Grimlock is out, we've now seen Slag, and we have it on good authority that Swoop is coming, I'd be shocked if Sludge and Snarl don't happen. Maybe not under the SS86 banner, but I think it's highly likely they'll both be made.

This is exactly how Sludge ended up being my favorite Dinobot. He was the only G1 Dinobot I ever found (As I was born long after G1 ended), and I'm pretty positive he influenced my love of long necked dinos :lol
If the remaining three end up as good as Grimlock and Slag look, then I'm so excited!

Man, I am excited about Slag! He was the Dinobot I wanted as a kid, as the Triceratops is my favorite dinosaur. I wound up with stupid Grimlock instead!;)
    They look great together!
