On the heels of my Shattered Glass Ironhide, I've gone ahead and done Jazz too.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Personally, despite the fact that he's completely repainted from the waist down, it really bums me out that shattered glass jazz looks so close to the original. It doesn't really look all that different.

 

Obviously this means you need to find some tiny gold chains.

 

I'll have to read through the comics again. I don't remember him having chains. I could easily do that with a jewelry chain.

 

I recall seeing it *somewhere.* Lord knows where.

 

Looks good. The leg repaint and decals make it look a lot more villainous

 

Some suggestions to help with that:
- Make the "Massacre Racing" and "Kill to Win" livery from the Botcon figure
- Scratch build/kit bash some quad rocket launchers to mimic the Cybertron Smokescreen figure he was based off of back in the day.

 

Maybe something different would help? Obviously, it's not "official", but it might help differentiate it from the G1 or G2 versions?



Edit: - If you really wanted to be "evil", or insensitive, you could use the Chinese/Japanese character for "four" (known as "yon", or more specifically as "shi" in Japanese), which is an unlucky pronunciation/number, meaning "death".
