Loving the show after the first three episodes. I got spoiled about
Omni-Man not really being the altruistic benefactor he purports to be.
But I'm still really looking forward to seeing how things shape up.

so all in all i'm enjoying it...so far...hoping some of the wokeness garbage in episode 3 is just doc seismic's character and doesn't come back. i've learned to shrug it off here and there but it was like everything he said. i'm willing to just chalk it up to that just being his character. amber is rather annoying to me though. a little of that goes a long way. rex is hilarious and just as douchey as he should be.

they're condensing the story and making changes which are fine since they're working. a lot of key moments still staying which is good along with some other funny moments like mark throwing the garbage bag to space and bi-plane
hopefully there's an odd shot of his floating skeleton for a funny call back just like in the comic
    .

i've loved the comic for it's whole run and i'm curious to see how much of it's adapted. it's well animated and well acted with some great voice talent and there's a lot of side characters i grew to enjoy in it's run that are here in the show. it's as bright and colorful and then as violent and bloody as i was hoping it would be.

netflix ruined me by dropping all episodes at once. i wish the whole thing was up. this week to week wait is tough.

the guardians massacre and omniman destruction of that other dimension were glorious. i can't wait to see THE fight between mark and nolan. that's gonna be something.

Actually, I think it’s all part of the comics/Kirkman’s schtick. Poking fun at the various comic tropes and other things, often times via characters mouths.

And truthfully I like this new version of Amber, because in the comics she was kind of bland. To be honest. And Zazie Beetz is always a plus so I don’t mind the race swap either.

yeah I've been seeing a lot of people praising the change because it makes it more obvious why he did what he did and not just imprison them or something like that.

yea she was bland in the comic but she seems too....pushy...i dunno she's not someone i enjoy on the show at the moment. she reminds me too much of MCU MJ who i dislike as well.

it's got nothing to do with the race swap...though this show has done some rather unnecessary race and gender swapping. the massive cast from the book was very diverse from the get go. but 2021 gonna 2021 i guess

A friend of mine co-owned a comic book store and was a good friend, he'd pull stuff for me and give me occasional leftover promos that he figured I'd like, recommended this series to me and I never got around to reading it.

So, now I've got to resist the temptation to look up what the series is about and watch it in the dark like most people do for DC and Marvel shows/movies. I'm enjoying it so far.

I'm guessing that Omniman is exactly what DC Luthor has always feared Superman to be, that his long term goal is the conquest of Earth. That he didn't have to do anything until he could have a child with powers; he had gotten comfortable feeling that his kid didn't have powers and didn't have to conquer the planet, but once the powers manifested, that's changed his agenda/orders.

I've only seen the first episode so far and I enjoyed it. I'm glad it's got a nice mixture of voice actors and on-screen actors.

Glad people are enjoying the show. I absolutely loved the comics and this series is an excellent adaptation so far. It is so odd to see Ottley's aesthetic actually animated. Don't think I've ever seen any other animated movie/series capture an artist's style so effectively. I suppose the case could be made for Bruce Timm and Batman TAS but I believe his designs were made specifically for the show. I could be wrong.

Love seeing Invincible animated. I binged the entire series in like a week, then the show was announced like a month after. Been waiting since.

My favorite shot so far is of Mark spinning and then burrowing through the ground to catch the family during the Doc Seismic attack.

It's decent, nothing groundbreaking; on par with DC animated movies I guess.

It was kinda horribly brutal and bloody... like the source. Honestly, I skimmed it since it IS exactly like the comics I already read, and so far, not that interesting. Does not help that most of Image's comics are just copycats and knockoffs of DC's and Marvels, power and design wise. (I mean the multiplying girl even has Triplicate Girl's outfit... and the Biplane villain was just the Vulture.)

Gotta wonder why those aliens even kept invading time after time. And why only in the same city, same square? And why didn't the police evacuate the place after the first invasion???
Some of the voices are good. Is that Clancy Brown as Hellboy Etrigan, kid detective?

So I'm gonna say that I could never really get into Invincible. Most Image stuff, if I'm perfectly honest - unless I viewed it through the lens of parody, and even then.
Invincible just gave me the vibe of "trying too hard", you know? With all the gore and brutal, bloody death. It's almost the same vibe I get from Netflixvania.

Surprisingly enjoyable work of adult animation.

I really enjoyed it! this and Amazon's Undone are what animation on amazon prime should be like.

I'd agree with this that they are trying too hard, but in this case, the comic this is based on IS just as bloody and brutal as the show, so it was Image who was trying too hard, not the show. They are just following that style.
I do agree I am not a fan of such needless gore myself, either.

Ok i think I picked up on a easter egg in the newest episode.

Mark's principal is a Mr. Winslow. The character design looks a bit like Officer Winslow from Family Matters. Officer Winslow was played by Reginald Veljohnson. Who provided the voice for the principal? Reginald VelJohnson!

That's not really an easter egg. It's pretty blatant, specifically called out by Amazon in their trivia popups for the episode, and you've missed the fact that the school they attend is Reginald VelJohnson High

Loving it so far. It will be really serious one minute, then good bloody and dark, then silly childish. Never know what to expect.

started watching it this morning, its like if the people who do DC live action took over the DC animated.
