So it looks like some orders are being shipped and some aren't.... I may wait a couple of weeks before filing a PayPal dispute, thank God for Pp though.
Dang, sorry to be the bearer of bad news then, but at least you found out before it was too late to get your money back. I'm out over $300 that I'll never see again because I paid for a pre-order through my credit card instead of PayPal.
I don’t even think it’s some aren’t unless they specifically tell you they can’t deliver. Which is only the case for one item I know of (DX Macross Super/Strike parts). It is a case where you could wait a very long time to get your shipment though.
I was able to collect a package from them this week that should've shipped to me at the end of November, if it hadn't been for the suspension of EMS shipping to Canada since the end of last year.
Wanted to post an update on this. Nearly one and a half month of no response, even with three tickets active. No one answering calls over phone. Chat removed. I opened a PayPal claim after a month, not a single reply there either. Have now escalated to PayPal. Needless to say, just stay away. On the extreme off chance that this is not a scam, the business is so grossly mismanaged that it doesn't deserve a single customer.
AMEN BROTHER... I have an update myself. After unsuccessfully trying to get my money back from my credit card institution, I called PayPal directly and they offered me a $100 voucher/credit. Granted I was only out $122 for the SSP, it took the sting off a bit. Anyone else in the same situation could perhaps benefit from the same action I took. I actually took this suggestion from another member who posted and it paid off. I’m too lazy to credit him/her....BUT THANK YOU!! Perhaps someone else who is at their last resorts can benefit as well, as long as they used PayPal. That is all.
Got my order from last year. All items where sealed, complete and very well packaged. I just wished they would be more open with their communication what is happening. I think you can still use them for single item preorders. All of those have been shipped in a timely manner in the last 12 months. As soon as you buy in stock items and combine multiple items in one shipment the trouble starts. I can understand everybody that doesn’t want to deal with these shenanigans. Now I have one last order that hasn’t shipped yet.
They recently officially admitted that they went through mismanagement. So if that's also their way of saying they'll start to get things back on track is yet to be seen.

The one thing I cannot complain about them is the packaging. They have always done a great job in packaging.
So in saying: "That supposed CEO got canned" and now it's taking possibly years for NY to regain it's reputation back.
I mean that's nice but doesn't sound like a very "official" mea culpa to me. I was expecting a Facebook update or something. If they are trying to make things better why did they shut down CS chat (useless as it was)? Why not reply to people's open tickets with actual real updates? Etc.
Maybe they can't afford the service anymore? Doesn't really bother me at this point as I dropped them from my list. Until I know everything is back on track, I'm avoiding them.
I'm just going to hope it means they are likely short staffed and focusing who they have on maintaining their site with ability to take new orders and fulfilling the backlog of orders already placed instead of answering tickets that they already know the topic for the majority of.
