Maybe so, but I somehow doubt PR will be part of that so soon.

Well, Hasbro is already working on a new PR film, I don't think it *totally* impossible to cross them over. May run into trouble overseas but we'll see

At a very early stage of development as far as we know.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing an animated Power Rangers series, similar to Legendary Defender.

There is still significant interest in doing an Optimus Prime movie within Paramount. He'll be central to all upcoming films, but don't be surprised if we eventually get a movie literally titled "Optimus Prime."

Other than that I am not sure. Paramount is at a stage where they are inviting a wide variety of filmmakers to pitch movie ideas to them. They are open hearing any ideas. They want to see the filmmaker's voice and perspective.

Soto's recently announced movie will be a little grittier than Bumblebee and the upcoming 2022 movie. Paramount wants a diversity in styles and tones for these projects to keep them fresh.

Too much money to be made potentially with a new movie timeline.

Hmm 3 movies, and considering the piss poor performance of TLK and how it almost drove Paramount to the ground, I hope they aren't stretching themselves to the brink here.

So are they planning a cinematic universe again?

Do you mean like putting GI Joe, Power Rangers, Transformers, etc. in the same universe? I honestly haven't heard anything about it. I would imagine it's not their current priority (they want to get each of these franchises jumpstarted again on their own first), but I'm sure it's on Paramount's mind. Likely a future goal.

Please note that paragraph is mostly me speculating. I have not heard of any intention for crossovers in the near future of Transformers movies.

The new movies absolutely are intended to all take place in the same universe, but I'm not sure how much direct connection each will have.

This might be a huge stretch but do you know any directors that haven’t been announced and are considered by hasbro currently?

    Very interesting...

Nothing's wrong with a little grit as long as it doesn't go full Zack Snyder on us. Here's hoping with this approach we'll get at least one really good Transformers movie. I know I'm more on the cynical side of things due to how often I've been let down but make no mistake: if we got multiple great TF films after the 10 years of mind-numbing crap I'd be over the moon.
