Besides the Golden Disks, give me 2 good reasons to get Autobot Ark. It's just that the only Titan Class I ever collected were the Combiners and I once wanted to get Scorponok, but cancelled order to make cut backs.

 

It's also not the original source video and wasn't uploaded by Hasbro, so probably has nothing to do with "Hasbro not paying them" and more to do with they guy that uploaded it thinking he'd be funny and convince people online of something nefarious without doing anything other than blurring some faces

 

I don't think anything wrong was done from Kevin Smith. I find it weird how the faces blurred so soon after our posts considering the video was uploaded two days ago.

 

Mainframe/Teletraan seems well done, and it's probably the only time they'll ever make a Sky Spy accessory. Also, Big Stompy Robot.

 

All I'm saying is that the blurred faces probably has more to do with the person that uploaded the video than anything else

At first it seemed strange to me that they announce Shadow Panther and later Skywarp from the Japanese line of BW, but with how slow I am   I understood that they are privileges of Hasbro for having unified figures with Takara.

Hopefully they will be encouraged to make another figure like Santon as a Rhinox Kingdom retool.

I'm still up in the air about the brand unification. On one hand they release everything together and on the other they do selects sets like the Abominus and Volcanicus set. Clearly Takara still does it's own thing. Just with approval of Hasbro I guess?

 

Your T30 Rhinox is a floppy mess? I think you got a bum one then man, mine's not floppy in the least.

 

Hasbro has been releasing Takara characters that don't have western counterparts long before brand unification, including Generations Black Shadow, TR Black Shadow, TR Metalhawk and several others. It's not a "privilege of brand unification", Hasbro and Takara can release whatever characters they want and feel will sell

Takara doesn't need Hasbro's approval to release their own things, unification is nothing more than a partnership to reduce the cost of mainline production runs. That's all it is. Outside of the mainlines Takara does their own thing and they're not beholden to Hasbro's decisions because they aren't a subsidiary of Hasbro. They own the license in Japan and can do what they want with it.

 

It's not like Hasbro doesn't do its own thing from time to time, either.

 

A perfect example would be CW Liokaiser or Hasbro's Selects Black Zarak

 

I thought it would be really cool if Hasbro would let Peter Cullen record your name for the transforming Optimus Prime so when you get it you would have a personalized Optimus Prime. If you ever wanted to sell it, you'd have to find somebody with your first name but it would still be cool none the less.  

 

To say nothing of characters not-previously exclusive to Japan that Hasbro's been doing on its own lately.
