I didn't buy any post-ARAH Joes, but if I had ever seen them at retail, I probably would have made an exception for the Lifeline, Sci-Fi, and Airtight from that era. Those were three childhood favorites, and those new versions were triumphant. I would love to see all three in Classified with removable helmets, lots of accessories, and familiar outfits. I don't think any of those three would even need too much modernizing.

Absolutely. That 35th Sci-fi (my favorite ARAH Joe figure ever) in Classified will be unreal if they use it as the template. Same for the others.
It gives me hope that Sci-Fi is listed on GIJoe.com with other characters that have already been made in the Classified line. So is Chuckles, another favorite that I desperately want. I just saw the movie Classified Joes and...ahhh...Joes...I want to throw my money at you and buy whatever 6-inch figures Hasbro put out but the designs are so...off?! The Baroness usually has aesthetic about a rich, glamorous villainess but this version looks like some cosplay wannabe. I can’t help but remind of some generic anime character...I can’t place it. Storm Shadow. The design looks decent but why did Hasbro use a yellow tint on the white? They should use “cool white” (like sone modellers use on the Nu Gundam) Snake-eyes...his design is alright but nothing to shout home about. Its hard to mess his design up...the only time Hasbro messed-up (IMO) is the first movie, where they gave him a mouth. At the very least, I’ll get SE...
To me, she looks like “My First Terror Plot Skipper.” The hair makes her look way too young. I get it; this is supposed to essentially be a prequel, but man. It’s hard to take her seriously, looking like such a child.
I couldn't find any Nerf Modulus blasters that matched Duke's but I did find a reedit post showing other Joes equipped with Nerf blasters. And one guy who painted back to their original colors. Which is both hysterical and sad at the same time.
This might end up being Classified Sci Fi Yea Storm Shadow looks cheap, that color of plastic with no paint layered over it washes out all the details. The plastic also looks semi-translucent if you look at the sword handles, adding to cheap look as I’m pretty sure that wasn’t intended. Snake Eyes just seems average. I’ll watch the movie to see if I’ll even want these figures.
To be fair, those are Liefeld guns (basically ovals in the front and then make up the rest in the back).
Honestly Duke's rifle is easily the best rifle in Classified, hands down. It's effectively a future M4 with a not-Magpul CTR style stock and not-Magpul magazine, with a red dot and flip up magnifier combo for optics. THAT is amazing. Worth getting some recasts and trying to paint them myself!
I was shocked to see GI Joe Classified at Target today. Granted, it was only the repaints of Roadblock and Scarlett, but those pegs have been empty for months.
