Ummm good luck getting any new figure of bayverse..... maybe you should go third party?

 

Would "Frag" be better then Slug?

 

I can understand the complaints about him having short legs, but to me it's in the same vein as Grimlock's smokey chestplate. A valid criticism, but far from anything that would make it not worth getting. Cause dang does this guy look good. Big, stocky, and ready to shove some decepticon's head up their tailpipe. His beast mode looks pretty dang good, and his bot mode looks absolutely amazing. Sure, he may have a faux chest bit, but it's easily forgiveable as it makes for him being more accurate in both modes. And his legs, while a bit short, are most likely that way due to transformation. Which looks like it's going to be really fun, by the way. Only thing that I'm really annoyed about is that, as it was with grimlock, they gave him a stupid minifigure accessory instead of a sword. But eh, it is the way it is. And I am RIDICULOUSLY hyped about this guy lol.

Don’t worry. There are figures from the other good Transformers movie, Bumblebee, coming as well.

 

More Bayverse stuff is coming next year.

If just all got pushed back since all the SS86 stuff was in Kingdom but got pushed out in-favour of Beast Wars.

Well if it stays that way it would be the first time in years they called him Slag in plastic.

Wonder if they're will be any problems in countries that have "Slag" as the slang for "Slut" or if they won't care.

Would be pretty funny tho. "Mom Dad! I want a Grimlock and a Slag for Christmas"

 

I love it...except the red head. Would love some contrast to the chest.
The dino mode is perfect.  Great scale and design.  I will need all the G1 dinos...and the POTP slash, velociraptor i feel like will scale perfectly (as a true velociraptor in size)
so excited for the future!! What a time to be alive.. 

 

I don't think any toy is gonna be 100 percent perfect or to our liking. I have some issues with K Dinobot (The stiff joints, wobbly waist, and his arms look lanky compared to MP Dinobot) but I still love the figure for how accurate he looks compared to his cartoon counterpart and how posable he is!

 

Im all for g1 and do not care for the movie designs. That being said, I completely understand their frustration at a line originally intended for what he likes has g1 leaking into it. It is different to me than complaints about beast wars in generations or masterpiece as those, while primarily g1 were never stated as being exclusively g1.

 

Swoop better come with wing mounted rocket launchers.

 

My only nitpick with this figure is the snout, kinda wish it was a bit more elongated like this headsculpt I did but other than that this figure is probably going to be my favorite for 2021  

 

Ideal scenario that won't happen: Deluxe Slash, with a ER Cliffjumper-sized figure and all of the Dinobots' weapons

I'm in but it's Dinobots so I would anyway. If they do G2 I'll likely buy them too. Either way this is great looking.

Seriously? You've had YEARS of studio series figures for Bayverse. We finally get some G1 and you complain. I hate the bayverse. I finally get high end versions of G1 movie characters. I am happy. These look fantastic. You had what 60+ Bayverse figures. I got what SEVEN thus far. Chill. You can get your jumbled mess of bayverse figures after we get more beauties like this.

 

I hope we eventually get all 5 Dinobots, including Snarl.

 

In the end, all roads lead back to G1

Going off-topic a little, but I'm curious what they will do for SS86 Wreck-Gar. He is supposed to be a voyager, but on-screen the character is roughly the same size as Hot Rod or Kup, meaning he is about deluxe size. I'd like to see him take Kup's gimmick of removable arms/legs and go a step further by having an "extra" set of arms/legs (and maybe head/chestplate). This would basically make Wreck-Gar two characters, enticing collectors to buy multiples. Especially if the Junkion repaint/remold also has two sets of robot parts that are interchangeable also...
