Dinobot and Cyclonus are neck and neck. I don’t have Huffer yet, which looks great as well.

 

Still waiting on Amazon for most of my Wave 2's. The fact that I am having a hard time choosing, and yet have completely disregarded excellent figure*s such as Black Arachnia and Warpath, should tell you what a great line I think this is.

I certainly respect the hell out of what they did with Cyclonus. Other than the color (I prefer the toy colors), he's a figure I've wanted for decades. But I feel like I have more fun fiddling with other figures, especially Paleotrex and Vertebreak. And Primal. And Huffer.

 

Honest to Primus I can't choose between these guys, on any given day it can be any of them.

Kingdom is killin’ it with the fembots.


Between Airazor, Blackarachnia, Vertebreak, and (maybe) Ractonite, Kingdom has given us some of the best fembots outta the whole franchise. I guess we just had to go beast-mode to get original with them.

Airazor is a beautiful figure. She has probably one of the best engineered bird modes I’ve ever seen and an excellent robot mode. I absolutely love her design and coloring. Her headsculpt is brilliant in design and color choice. I love the shiny purple face with the deep green eyes. The beak shaped helmet with the feathery headdress is an awesome look.


Such an impressive wingspan. I did read where the joints for Airazor’s wings have been an issue for some people. The hinges on mine are slightly tight, but since I read about it beforehand, I was gentle with mine and so far no stress marks. Regardless of that, this gorgeous falcon mode is so much fun and feels really good in hand.

The molding of the feathers is really well done. I like how they actually molded the striations in each feather. Would’ve liked to see more paint, but what’s there is nice. I like the white tips on the inside of her wings.
I love the bird headsculpt. Those beady little black eyes are perfect and I like the paint around the beak, which can open and shut btw. The head has good articulation too so you can get that little bird side-eye going on.
I read about Airazor’s ‘bonus’ mode where her bird head can be used in robot mode.


And I love it! As if she wasn’t a badass warrior to begin with. She’s got a super bird-bot mode. She looks like one of Ra’s personal guard from “Stargate.”


Airazor’s articulation is just killer. I love how her bird legs can give her that extra forward bend in bot mode. The wings are a lot of fun to position in different ways for a really dynamic look.
Overall, I can’t really convey much better how impressed I am with Airazor. She is such a wonderful figure. I’m really loving the fusion of G1 and Beast Wars characters. It just all works so well together. Kingdom continues to just keep winning me over.

Cyclonus by far. It was pretty impressive how they designed him to practically have very little kibble in either mode. I dare say, it's almost Masterpiece impressive at Generations price.

I know the thread asked for favorite, but if I had to rank my top 5 characters so far*, I would have to go as follows.

1st: Cyclonus
2nd: Primal
3rd: Dinobot
4th: BW Megatron
5th: Inferno (G1 Kingdom)

*This is only based on what I have. Only current Kingdom figures I don't have yet are the wave 2 deluxes so I can't speak for those yet.

 

I always thought Mt. Hillary was supposed to be in Oregon?
I mean, sometimes on the cartoon there were lush forests and waterfalls nearby. Other times it looked like Southern Utah, haha. So whatever works.  


Remember that one episode where the Autobots’ new field commander showed up to lead a rescue squad that saved the day?

At least, that’s part of the non-existent season 2.5 I wish was real, to bridge the gap between the first two seasons and the movie.

I think I'm looking forward to Scorponok more. Can't wait to have how I like to call Dinobot's counterpart.
