This might be dumb question - is MMC's DJD line MP or CHUG scale? I always assumed CHUG but the stores list them as MP scale.

 

They are “Voyager CHUG”, ie made to scale with T30 Springer. So mostly they will look too small with MP, even as large as Tortor and Mors are.

All depends whats on that shelf. I think they scale well with the MP car bots. Agree probably too small with the MP jets. He's the same size as MP Ironhide. In my mind from the comics they scale perfectly.

 

Most definitely not MP scale.

Tarn is about a one eye level difference between himself and Megatron - meaning Meg’s is ever so slightly taller.

MP Megatron and MMC Tarn has a huge difference in height - let alone quality/material differences.

MP Car bots scale fine with Tarn, because “MP Car Bot size” is voyager scale.

 

I do like this scale example. In this way, Tarn fits perfectly with CW leader Megatron.

 

Ok, so I just got Kultur in the mail...nice figure. I like it, but now I have a question. Which is more accurate, the head he comes with or the head that comes with Tyrantron?!?

The one Tarn already has, while Tyrantron's is literally Glitch pre-MTMTE, Glitch did have an actual face as Tarn underneath the mask.

 

I second that, I put on the glitch head for all of about an hour and then switched it back. The original head is much better even with the mask on from the side angles too

 

And if you can get a touch of silver on the face it's awesome

 

IF-Eris led me to this thread. Now I plan to get Kultur to go with fem-Tarn. And also Iron Factory Tarn to be Tarn Jr. Aaaw, who knew Tarn was such a fatherly type?

 

Then you'll have to get D-Zef to be the ex-hubby!

 

Fingers crossed that MMC actually releases D-Zef! I actually prefer MMC's version over Planet X's.
