He looks amazing but I wonder if he could look even better with the red parts near to the wings painted white.
This starscream reminds me to the SS38 because he has some pieces on the "backpack" wich make the silhouette look a little weird, but with a different color those pieces could differentiate more the backpack from the robot and look better.

 

Opened up DOTM deluxe Optimus last night

This is my first experience with this figure, and it's pretty fun! I like the weapon, as silly as it is, and the transformation is really enjoyable. I particularly like spring-loaded head reveal when going from truck to robot mode. The way the windows tilt for a more accurate look is pretty neat as well. I think my only gripe is that he can be kind of tough to stand, mostly because his feet are a bit on the small side







Getting this guy also now means that I have an Optimus figure from each of the films' toy lines (in-between lines such as HFTD not included)

 

Those blue pieces on the shoulders are actually meant to be stood up. They have those shoulder "spike" things molded into the underside of them.

 

I know that it'd be nicer to get new characters instead of Bumblebee again, I really hope we get a new High Octane Bumblebee. I'm hopeful though because it seems like the demand for him is high.

 

It will be Evasion OP, Knight OP, Octane Bee, and Stinger Bee. No Hound or Crosshairs for you.

 

Is it too much to hope for a reissue of Car Dropkick also in Buzzworthy?

No Hound or Crosshairs is fine. Both of the TLK figures are perfect already. I'm very excited about Octane and Stinger Bee. HasTak did a pretty good job with Stinger, so I can't wait to see what they do with Stinger Bee.

 

Ok look don’t get me wrong if I had a choice Stinger Bee would be the next AoE figure Id want to receive but I still want SS versions of Crosshairs and Hound. Personally I prefer Hound’s AoE vehicle mode over his TLK mode.

There's a potential 5th ( it's not Drift ) but I'm holding back info on this one for now in case the plan changes.

 

This is the biggest haul of Transformers I ever had within a week, so for me it’s quite the feat.


@lonewolf96 since you seem to know what might be coming, mind letting me know what those rumored/confirmed repaints of BB Starscream were again?

I’d hate to make a character only for an official version to come out later.

 

@Lonewolf any word on if they're reusing the Evasion mode, or if they'll be retooling SS38's mold?
