For the upcoming movie Stormshadow, what would be best to try and get him to his classic clean white look? Also, i ordered the four ARAH classic characters, skipping the new girl. Going to use either Valaverse or Fortnite weapons on them.
Paint or parts-wise? Are you looking for a hybrid semblance or full on 1984? If the latter you might want to try tracking down the white costumed Articulated Icons ninjas and the bare armed accessory kits with the arm wrappings.
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are super bland. They both need some color badly. Snake Eyes is worse because of the all black. They got it right in 85, just a little color to break it up. I can’t stand the black visor on the black mask anymore, the look has run its course. I only want to see black on black for goggled heads. On a positive note the ladies look good.
Any word on when BBTS is going to get in the Cobra Troopers that went up for preorder like a month before those two?
I agree Storm Shadow needs something extra. I recently painted my bathroom the same blah tan color of his outfit, ha ha!

FYI on pricing. Ordered all SE Movie figs from Pulse yesterday during The YouTube show and got em for 19.99 ea. They now show on the website at 22.99.
Can I just say how nice the knives in Classified are? Beachhead and Zartan's are my favorites. Big, mean knives!
While it would be nice I'm not so upset for the knives. Military blades tend to be low-vis and non reflective for very practical reasons.
You also run into the issue of paint rub. If the blades are painted, when the blades are sheathed for a long time the paint might get stuck to the sheath and come off. If the handles are painted, the paint may come off either when placing in the hands or removing. Ideally the blades and handles should be molded separately in their respective colors. However it might not be practical/durable given the small physical size.
I already ran into that issue with the sword Marvel Legends Nightcrawler came with. It was only sitting in an accessory storage tote and some of the silver paint rubbed off onto one of Kurt's extra faces. At the very least I can say it might have happened because it was brushing against the face in the bin, but I'd be super annoyed if just storing a sword in its intended sheath had a similar effect.
I’m in the same situation. It’s what happens when people order 10 to army build. Anything is possible, but he’s not currently a featured character on GiJoe.com’s roster, which seems to (so far) be in line with what they’ve made (Snake Eyes movie characters aside).
Same here, though I was able to order Zartan through Amazon, and he arrived a little over a week ago. Come to think of it, nearly all of my Hasbro preorders at Amazon have shipped earlier than stated this year. BBTS is more of a "can't find the damn listing on Amazon" option for me.
