I ordered a bunch of decals, Cheetor gut guns, Starscream LEDs, and Wheelie here and after combining shipping the whole thing came under $30 and took 3 weeks.
These are the decals for the DOTM MPM-11 project I told you about. Still waiting on paints, though. Somehow my domestic shipment got lost.  

 

Damn, that seems like so much for what you got, BUUUT, I guess they gotta make their money somehow, since everything's so cheap.

Cheetor's gut guns look much better then the ones I ordered, but I'm not all that great at painting, so painting that gun would be a nightmare lol.

Man, what in the hell is going on with these shipments?!?! I'm really looking forward to seeing your custom Ratchet though, so I hope it shows up soon!!

Maybe my answer would be different if I hadn't bought TWO of them (one for my TLK shelf as Berserker and one for my Studio Series shelf as Crankcase) but there's really no reason to replace it. He looks great next to Crowbar.

I would hope they would make a new mold- but we know that doesn’t happen with Hasbro.

 

I just don't think a new mold is warranted when Berserker is CG accurate to Crankcase, turns into a Suburban, and was the base mold for Crowbar. Berserker and Crankcase are the exact same model.

 

Same. My family would go to my Grandparents house for dinner every Saturday and then after dinner we sit in the living room and watch Iron Chef.

Which makes Hasbro's decision to just repaint Crowbar and release the figure as Crankcase even more confusing. Literally all they had to do was remove Crowbar's head and put on the one that they originally used for Berserker and, boom, there you go. I know repaints are almost always regarded as "lazy" or whatever, but the SS Crankcase figure is the literal definition of being a lazy repaint.

The original Berserker figure (not the Crowbar version that was obviously fixed) also isn't that good, mostly because of the arm panels constantly falling off because they weren't pinned in. Berserker was one of the few figures that I actually ended up returning (the last figure I had returned was FOC Prime back in 2012, something I've ironically come to regret) because of how bad the QC issues were.

I also have fond memories of watching Iron Chef with my family. We did it every week for a long time.

 

I went on a hike with my family, so i thought it would be a good idea to take some outdoor shots:

 

After fiddling with Starscream more i have mixed feelings about him. In robot mode he has solid joints, decent articulation, good looking overall.
His jet mode doesn't look to bad either. The underwing is a bit bulky but other than that I like ot. The transformation is interesting but a pain to pull off first time. There's also alot of painted places that get rubbed together during transformation which is annoying.
The paint itself is great. The colors contrast great with each other. But personally I was never a big fan of Starscreams deco in general.
Overall hes an ok figure. The mold itself is fine but its the paintwork that doesnt do it for me. Ill probably keep this guy until the repaints come.

 

Wheelie is a much more small character. Therefore, people don’t remember him as much. Plus, conceived racial discrimination is linked to bay’s Skids and Mudflap. I personally don’t believe this, since the actors worked together with it. (And I believe one of them was black.) Nevertheless, there will always be people with negative feelings towards them.

 

Still better then Carbombya City. Funny enough all the characters from that episode have been made.

Cool, I was wondering if Buzzworthy had more stuff! Bee and Barricade would make sense, if it’s a reissue of clunker Bee with the weathering and Frenzy is included I might pick that up.

Awesome work! I know it’s a small thing, but I really like the silver scratches and chips around the chest vents.
