Are the eyes cast in translucent plastic? The LED bulb works on mine, but the paint on the eyepiece is opaque, so light-up feature is 100% pointless.

This thing is absolutely the biggest pain in the arse I've ever owned. It's constructed from frustration and angst. Looks great as a robot, but I'm in day six of converting back to trailer for storage.

 

So that means there is aftersale support after all.....either by ShowZ (if you bought it there) or directly from XTB. Notice that ShowZ has now removed the wording about XTB not offering aftersale support. I'm thinking the bad quality versions were limited to only a few copies.

 

I've never seen any of these warnings on the ShowZ page, are you sure it wasn't on the TFs Express post?

 

Back when everybody got the trailer, and then 3 hours later combined it, I am amazed that with the not so strong hip ratchets, the combiner has held up well.

the tightness of the knee joints and the tightness of the back and forward movement helps

 

Just a reminder to anyone who is having trouble posing Monolith I have these custom 3d printed pieces to aid in the stability of this combiner. Also make sure you tighten up the screws in the ankle area as they work loose as you rock the joints.

The stock looks the best, which is hilarious considering they made so many extras.

 

I got these fillers installed last week. The fit was spot on with everything locking in without having to do any additional cutting or sanding. My Menasor definitely feels sturdier with less rocking at the ankles. Well done Fury.

 

Promising proto. Will look better with the silver and toy detailing.

They seem to be basing Youth Wildriders face on the G1 toy box art which has eyes, nose, mouth all visible:

It would be cool if they also added in an extra face like the actual toy with a mouth guard:

Personally I like a few of the extras better than the stock face. The paint alone is miles better, and the sculpts are more cartoon accurate. I didn’t really need 8 options tho’ but hey why not?
