I dig the Beast Wars figures in this line and I’m not a huge BW fan. They look like real animals and the robot modes look grest. I picked up Dinobot at Target a few weeks back and that’s a great looking figure. I hope they do some non show characters beyond repaints. Those were the characters that looked the coolest to me (bummed about Polar Claw).

Fair enough but I do know a few people who are happy to keep the T30 of rhinox.

Rhinox looks nice, but I'm not sure if I like him better than the Generations version. Definitely prefer RTS Tracks to this new one. Core Soundwave looks more solid than the voyager, very nice. Rodimus still looks good, Galvatron looks okay. Not sure if I care one bit about the SG stuff, though some of the decos are cool. I'm going completionist on the BW stuff, but the G1 stuff is hit or miss what with all the gaps. The fossilizers are one of those things I respect, but have no room for in my collection. Very cool though...

Finally figured out why he seemed so off. They didn't try to capture his show appearance in figure form, they went for a hybrid show/toy look. Emphasis on toy being the main inspiration for this take on Rhinox. Makes me wonder if the upcoming waspinator will do the same. Neither have MP's at this point to pull influence from and the previous incarnations were more show influenced. Not to say they can't redo those looks, it just doesn't seem to be the route they took this time, at least with Rhinox anyways.

To own his each, personally I ditched that figure the moment I heard we'd be getting Beast Wars in Kingdom.

    That makes sense.

I might end up paying extra for Earthrise Scorponok, then. I am hopeful though. I got the Nemesis Prime Spoiler Pack from BBTS with no tax charges. He is significantly smaller than a Titan figure of course, but his package was still a fair size. I’m no doubt pushing my luck, though.

Rhinox looks so good (Guns are a little on the small side, but I'll live), and seems to beat the T30 figure. I wonder if we'll get a Predacon repaint. Wingfinger looks absolutely doofy and I love it. Definitely gonna try and snag one as well. Rodimus, Galvatron, Ark, and Scorponok all look great, but their pics have been circulating for a little bit, so I already knew. I'm surprised by how nice Tracks looks. Might swing for one if I find one available, but it's probably lower on my "Must have" list. Core Soundwave looks great, but I'm still on the lookout for a Netflix Soundwave.

Big Optimus with Kevin Smith was fun, but I'm definitely not gonna be grabbing that :lol

I decided to cancel my Rhinox preorder for now, going to wait for in hand comparisons to the thrilling 30.

Oh, I'm sure lots of people here can afford it. It's just the figure doesn't seem worth $700 to them, myself included. Pretty cool concept though, and something I'll be following closely.

Agreed. If they had included a Cheetor gut gun and some other random BW accessories, I don't think I could have resisted.

I might be in the minority here, but I think I would have liked the Ark more as a playset than a transforming figure. I\'m still 50-50 on getting it, but that Mainframe/Teletraan-1 figure is very tempting.

The Rodimus Prime figure looks pretty cool. Galvatron is rockin\' it, too! I like the Beast Wars figures, especially Scorponok, and will be getting them. I\'m not at all into the fossilizers, but I\'m very happy for those that are. I think SG is cool as a concept and some of the decos can be great, but it\'s not something that tickles my fancy.

As for auto-transforming Optimus?! Ahhh...yes, please!!!

Headcanon time: The Fossilizers are the Predacon equivalent of Ramage, experiments to create an immortal Cybertronian. What they got was indestructible monstrosities that can break apart and reform their bodies to form armor, and were all designed to combine with each other. Paleotrex and Ractonite stay with the Predacons, while Wingfinger escapes and joins the Maximals

Well, if you're looking for the Golden disks, it looks like we're getting two of them with the Ark
    [IMG]

And if that weren't good enough, I just noticed that they're not just the same piece and have different sculpting between them

    Oh shoot!

Not only does Teletraan 1's robot mode look like Mainframe, it IS Mainframe?! What an actual twist!

Why do these threads move soooo effing fast?!?!

Anyway, wanted to share my thoughts:

Glad I don't have to replace my T30 Rhinox. It may be more animation accurate, but the new one lacks that "wow" factor for me. I'll get the mold if there is an interesting repaint down the line.

Love the new Tracks, minor gripe being no yellow on the hood design. Glad I can get rid on that PoS RTS Tracks I overpayed for a couple of years ago. I still can't get why people praise that figure so much.

Getting Green Vertebreak for completionist purpuses, and I really like that mold so I'm fine with it. A new dino head would have helped a lot.

Wingfinger is really dissapointing, I feel there's less mass in that figure than in a Core Class. I like to support new characters, and have loved the Fossilizers so far. I'll probably get him, but it'll be one of those "meh" figures.

Galvatron looks awesome but I'll wait for the repaints.

Scorponok looks cool, more so in beast mode

Probably skipping Core Soundwave even though it looks awesome for what it is.

I've warmed up to Rodimus, especially with the better look at the features. Maybe I'll get him full price.

I'm sure there's a lot of people like me more interested in all the extras rather than the Ark itself. I'm really gonna pay $150 for a Mainframe/Teletraan 1 diorama piece and the Golder Disks? Probably...

SG Blurr is the most surprising. A new head and awesome deco go a long way! I really disliked the Vanilla Blurr, and preffer the TR one a lot better. Only have him because I got him as a gift.

"Orange Ractonite" was the understatement of the year. He's the most awesome reveal for me. Even has an awesome name! However....

Would it kill Hasbro to produce new blast effects? Or at least rotate the line up to the least used ones? The designs that came originally with Jetfire and Omega are gonna be flat and textureless by the time these ones are released because of the over use.

I legitimately love that idea!! If you don't mind, I'm adopting that as my personal headcanon as well

I will disagree on the first part, but agree on the second.

IMO. The concept of Shattered Glass is one of the most refreshing things in the franchise. Instead of the same old same old, the characters actually a see a re-invention the likes of which we haven’t seen since the UT, while also still being the same characters we and know and love.

The concept really does have a lot of potential, which is why I am sad when people literally call it the worse thing to ever happen to the franchise.
