I like hearing that Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus and Soundwave are going to be in the movie. I HOPE TO GOD that they make my girlfriend happy and put her fav character, Arcee, in the movie so I don't have to hear her complain about how Acree BELONGED in the first movie with her motorcycle being used by Lennox against Blackout. I also hope that this movie doesn't disappoint in pulling out all the stops and it has lots of robots battling each other instead of just 12.

 

lots of robots battling eachother= too damn many toys to buy when it comes out

 

i thought all the ideas about soundwave were awesome, EXCEPT:
-him being a "god-like" robot. that is a terrible idea. him being imortant and having a high rank with lots of respect is more sensical.
-him being a "focused sound laser". No. lasers are made of light. photons. not vibrations.

i dunno, there was a lot of stuff in that treatment that was AWESOME and needs to be kept, but there were some really really bad ideas. anyway, its really early on so, meh.

 

I thought it was a decent treatment...However, I wonder if they aren't using it now because it did leak...???...If fans keep getting a hold of this stuff it could make things worse for us in the end....

In addition, I am a little concerned that they are rushing this stuff...

 

If Prime gets slagged in the second movie, they could always use the piece of the Allspark he has to save him like Soundwave saves Megatron. Thus the Autobots would have to get the Matrix back in order to jumpstart his spark. (Then they could give him an upgrade to boot so he could really kick the crap outta Megs.

As far as the Dinobots go, if the Autobots get their collective butts handed to them in the second movie, then a call could go out for Grimlock and his crew to come in for a Bash and Smash on the cons. And to get those fan favorite alt modes, here's two things to consider...

1. Movie TF's can mimic animals as with Scorponok.
2. If 3 to 5 protoforms hit earth near a museum and all they had to scan was a parking lot full of sedans and SUVs, given the Dinobots' personalities, wouldn't the fossiles of some big scarry beasts serve them better to tear into a few cons? So to speak.  

 

i think hot rod is a valid addition.that would help explain the flames on optimus(winkwink).i think he should be an old school car.one of those donks they ride in miami.
ultra magnus is another good ADdition
i also think the movie should end with a very deep voice.(orson welles like)

HOW ARE THEY GOING TO HAVE THE CONsTRUCTICONS AND DEVASTATOR WHEN THEY HAD BONECRUSHER AND BRAWL/DEVASTATOR IN THE FIRST ONE.
i would love to see the stunticons.mainly because of motormaster.i would love to see him and prime square off.

and i dont know if robert stack is still alive but he should be the voice of ultra magnus.
and BRAWN should be one of the autobots in the second film.

Unfortunately, Robert Stack died in 2003.

 

Ahhhh.....that's too bad, he had an excelent voice. One of the few things that I can specifically remember from the '86 movie, lol.
