If there's anything I've learned being a part of this fandom it's that if there's no base mode, someone will fanmode one within the day of its release.

 

Aw, shucks.   I think we now need bone demon versions of all the big fierce animals we can find, extant or extinct, including a giant human skeleton that turns into a giant robot made of bones but in a manner so disturbing even HR Giger couldn't look at it.  

Speaking of which....know which crossover we really need? And it's a three-pack with a Core class loader?  

 

I think Tracks is the real standout for me out of the pulse stream. The fossilisers combiner is cool but yet again pass. I'll still get roddy and galvy, the fake excitement the presenters put on doesn't half grate on me though especially after that prime was revealed I had to quit out honestly it was so forced and put on.

Sg blurr looks nice and 4 other "capsules" on the way, think we only know about Megatron, goldbug and Jetfire so the last one may be a surprise. Not for me but the spotlight pack in comics sound cool, I'll enjoy reading those eventually if nothing else.

 

I love the box art for the Ark. And it show's Mainframe's... box mode.

 

Rodimus looks awesome. Not 85 quid awesome. If i see him on sale, I'll get him. If not, eh, i have my tr custom.

Rhinox, he looks odd to me. Blocky torso and the head colour layout seems all strange. Sticking with t30 on him.

Tracks looks awesome. I'll stick with my rts but may get a repaint if one comes out.

Ark is pass but i may see if anyone is selling their golden disks. I'd like those.

Scorp is a hell yeah. I'm happy with that colour scheme so I'll be getting that.

The new Rhinox looks good, and if he can actually stand up without doing the aplits ge'll be replacing the T30 version. Tracks is nice - I've never really been a huge fan of the character, but the completist in me really needs him. Just Skids to go then...

I'm not sold on the effects pack, and Rodimus' price point really has me on the fence.

(SG Blurr looks nice, but I'm passing on the SG stuff - I don't need it & I have no space for it!)

I think the reason they used “convert” is the same reason that they use “converts to...” on Transformers packaging. If they use “transforms” as an adjective in relation to Transformers toys, it damages the defensibility of the Transformers name trade mark. They need to keep “Transformer” as a name.

Got Dino today, Pulse really are quick.
He is a really nice figure, I wasn't expecting much from him so he was a total surprise to me. Clever transformation, really solid in both modes, the only movie car bot I've had that doesn't constantly want to come apart in car mode.
Almost the entire shell of the car (barring only the wheelarches) is on his back but it folds up so nicely, almost a masterpiece.
Bonus, you can fit the two arm blades inside the car mode.
