Looks good. Only problem is XTB quality and price. After Dr. Egg, not sure this is going to be affordable.

Plus after Locke, I would expect an increase in price to helo cover their losses on that.

 

Shrink it to scale properly with the Earthrise quint at deluxe scale.

 

Perfectly content with my pit of judgement set as it only takes one shelf in a detolf and looks amazing. Also xtb is overpriced garbage nowadays. Don’t need anymore $200 toys with self destruct action.

 

As a masterpiece collector, this is ridiculously disappointing at yet another, overpriced unneeded electronics stuffed to increase the price.

I can't imagine Dr egg flew off the shelf, it looks great but I'm not paying extra for stuff I'll never use or need.

Same applies to this.. ill wait till someone else does it, or just deal with earthrise

I love my Dr. Egg, and will likely get this as well. They're not for everyone, but once I had Dr. Egg in person I was very pleased.

 

If this is as huge as Dr Egg , having one of these guys with the tentacles out wide will take a lot of space. Will one fill a detolf horizontally?

XTB needs to be making some MP scale sharkticons, cause I would not be able to stop myself from buying multiples if they looked good.

 

Sometimes when a new figure comes out that is an upgrade to my old one I'll struggle internally to replace it or not. I'd upgrade my IT Quints if the price was reasonable here but it's not. It's that simple for me to go "Yeah I don't want it".

 

Somehow, I don`t get the quips about the size. The Earthrise Quintesson, and Dr. Egg are almost identical in size. It`s their respective stand which makes the difference.

I can't say by how much, as I don't have a price yet, just that it will be.

 

At most 10 bucks is my guess. XTB’s recent shenanigans has my faith in anything reasonable down the drain.

 

Having the Impossible Toys version of this character in hand, I would say thats the best representation scale wise. I do agree the Earthrise Judge was a bit too large although scale varried depending on whether you were watching the 86 movie or Season 3.

 

I'm not trying to justify anything, but even though the leds/sound boards are dirt cheap... We still need slightly more skill to put those pieces together, which I'm sure the factories charge more for... regardless of whether that money trickles down.

 

I'm in on this figure as much as I was on Dr. Egg. I'd love to get two just to display a second one with the alternate face, but price is really going to dictate my purchasing power.

Keith mentioned it will be cheaper than Egg on Facebook, but we'll see.
