With the abysmal showing of hasbro Kingdom rodimus offering. I have reconnected with this little bot as remaining my representation for my 86 movie today. I did a little tweak. I took the small extra final that was intended for the little lost planet gimmick mech druid pack-in, I cut it down and glued it in place over the top of the windscreen part. It was the only part missing.

 

I need to get this.

I read many mention the heel issue and big head issue. I am hoping they corrected it with this reissue since they corrected it with the black version right? Wishful thinking? Any other issues I should keep a lookout for?

I need this guy to complete my Movie Bot collection now that Dr. Wu Amie (Arcee) is incoming and Rubbish (Blur) is preordered.

 

I’m curious about this too. I had a previous version of this figure and sold it because it was awful to pose. He would stand but much other than that was tough to pull off.
If they corrected the feet I might be in on this again. Nothing better out there.

 

Seriously, cut a couple tiny squares of tape out and layer them on the back of his foot to resolve the issue.

 

I just sanded a bit of the foot so that the heel could go at a low enough angle to balance him. Took all of five minutes to do it. Great little figure.

I'm always shocked at how these legends scaled 3p companies can make the best looking versions of these characters, even over the MP scaled offerings, despite the limitations of the size class. After my friend got the legends scaled Blitzwing at TFCon LA in March, I was blown away by how good it looks compared to any of the bigger offerings. Absolutely kills them in the same way this guy is better looking than MP-9 or DX9 Carry.

 

Thanks for the tip off - have been looking for MS-19 for ages. I have ordered it on ShowZ - not sure if anyone can share their experience of the site? I have paid in full and somehow got a discount for shipping to the UK - it doesn't make sense! but states it should be available in August 22. Fingers crossed!!

 

I have been using ShowZ since 2019 and can say that my experience has been great. Great customer service, prices and I usually get my package here in the States on average 10 days. About 90% of my Collection is from them. Highly recommend.

I did thanks! That is reassuring - I am slightly baffled how selecting shipping options reduced the price further - just slightly nervous about if its actually going to ship, MS-19s have been so hard to find and I can't quite believe the pre-order is real and they are (I presume) making more!

 

Has anyone got any info on the re-release of MS-19? ShowZ had it down for August, but they don't seem to know what the new ETA is (Cannot complain about the communication from them - its excellent). I am happy to wait, but would love to have some indicative dates!

 

I haven't been able to find anyone else with pre-orders after they put this listing up. Show Z is usually pretty good with dates and in the know so I would be patient. I'm in the same boat as you and MFT will most likely reissue this, just a matter of when.

 

I’ve been checking daily to see if the status has changed to incoming. I don’t know what the hold up is but they are usually on point with their dates. I am guessing it should be released this month soon.

For those that preordered this guy, we should get a pay balance notification when it’s incoming.

 

Okay, can I just say how much I like that monochromatic landscape background you’ve got behind the Autobots? Partly because it helps their colors pop, partly because it takes me back to when I watched G1… in 1984, believe it or not, we still only had a black-and-white TV, so I watched most of G1 in B&W (maybe that’s why I gravitate toward toy-colors for me figures, I dunno).

Anyway, that gave me an unexpected nostalgia hit, thanks! And part of me wants to print up monochromatic BG’s for my shelves as well… hope you don’t mind if I steal the idea!
