I would have bought it. I love the literal interpretation of the back/blue, and the grey so light it looks almost white. If they did this for Grimlock and Starscream I'd get those too.

Same - I want it specifically BECAUSE of the 'dark blue for black' color scheme. I have enough 'grey n black' Megs in my life.

I'd also love an Optimus with his Marvel G1 colors, including the blue face and 'lavender for dark grey' Ion Blaster:

    This is A-MA-ZING!!

If this were made in Masterpiece size, I'd be pre-ordering it right now.

See there's you mistake. Time to downsize. Replace your MPs. It's more energy efficient.

I suspect you're being jovial, but I have neither the time nor the money to flip my collection. I've said this a dozen times on this site, but if I were clairvoyant, I would have seen the smaller size renaissance coming and would have held out.

I don't know how to feel about this comment. See my response above?

I agree. AGAIN, had I known that "Legends" sized figures would have hit this high of a watermark, I wouldn't have started collecting MP(ish) figures. As it is, I am 10+ years and dozens, if not a hundred, of figures in. I don't have anything close to the time, inclination, nor money to flip my collection and start a new collection.

It's a kind of twisting of the knife to see so many quality figures in a size point I don't collect.

However, you do somehow have the SPACE to have a hundred MPs

Yes, I know most folks are too far down the rabbit hole with CHUG or MP to embrace the micro-wave. You have my sympathy, honestly. That's so much room in your home dedicated to a collection. Imagining the space requirement makes me anxious.

To paraphrase Rung (I think): They built their bodies bigger and bigger, like something of an "assault on the surrounding space."

seriously, this. starting a second legend collection would just be a drop in the bucket in money/space compared to an already existing MP collection of 100 figures. :p

Second collection is what I did. S1, S2, TFTM in MP. S1-S4 plus any character who appeared in the comic in Legends.

Honestly Im thinking to sell all masterpiece TFs, only keep the combiners and huge ones like FT Jetfire and Maketoys Utopia etc, and then just buy each Newage bot... They are sooooo good!

Yeah, every time I start to feel bad about MP v Legends I look at FT Terminus and am reminded that there is really a lot to be said for that larger scale.

Definitely.. At home I think I'll be 100% move from Takara scale MP bots to Newage scale MP bots, but keep MP combiners and some super loved Takara scale MPs.
I'll either sell all the Takara scale MPs or set up some display cases at my work and keep them there. Newage have totally changed the game in my opinion- I love that if you like both versions of the character its ok to just buy both- and still not overpower a room with robots. And their mini boxes are so good.. they could even be displayed on them as a landscape of cool boxes! Etc.. ok I'll calm down about Newage MPs now.. haha

I do love getting new toys in the post...
What a figure - great use of the Galvatron mold IMO. Will hopefully find some time to mess around with him later...

Although I can't remember the last time I actually transformed any of my figures when I got them... they just tended to do on display!!

And the box art for this is just fantastic.

(Please ignore the messy desk... in the process of re-decorating the office!!)

I'm torn as to which one I love best, but this box art... mwah!

This thing is amazing... I may have to start buying more New Age figures if this is what they're like.
The transformation is absurdly complicated for something so tiny, but the articulation is astounding, and the deco is so pretty I keep lamenting that I don't have enough light around my desk to see all the detail in the full of his tiny glory. I'm definitely going to need a tiny Blaster to go with this guy now.
