Love the SS one to bits, really fun little figure. I know for a fact TT will never do a MP that looks this good (they simply don't seem to care for movie designs).

Looks is all up to personal preference. But the QC will for no doubt will be better on Zeta.

 

I have the MA and I gotta say, the paint smell out of the box smells like grease paint of some kind. It's not great but it goes away in a day or less. It's a non issue.

The paint coming off.. It's probably hit or miss. I have messed with mine plenty and none of the paint has rubbed off and I keep checking. I think the grease paint job really suits this figure and character and alt mode. That may just be personal preference though so to each his own.

I decided to pull the trigger on the Zeta version as well. I think based on pics I like the MA more and in hand it's great (to me) with the exception of leg panels not really tabbing in as well as I'd like and the struts on the chest not tabbing. I've found sometimes what u see in pics and videos vs. Having them in hand to compare is night and day.

Will report back whenever I get them on.. Although probably won't be for a month or so...

Well, for me the stain can be cleaned off easily where mine won't stick to my hand. The QC issue reported on ZT is much higher compared to what has reported for SX

 

The ZT version has been reviewed?

 

What QC? All the reviews I’ve seen summed up said the ZT one is a more solid figure with tighter joints.

Users who received it in China are all reporting the wings are loose. The port seems a bit big and the wings will drop easily. Some are having their golden chest piece drop out of the box. Many reported the paint is uneven where left part is clean and right part is weathered or vice versa.

Joints are tight, no issue and steadiness on standing is always better on ZT compared to SX but majority now in Tieba or China are having more of negative satisfaction

Peru Kill and Dragoon are the only 3rd party molds I own that haven't had something crack or snap off.

Anybody think it was kind of sneaky for the original designer to double dip and sell his/her designs to both zeta and bmb?

If I was either company, I'd probably be pretty miffed to find out the same design was sold to another competitor... Wonder if they knew when they made the purchase.

The designer, whomever they are, is probably laughing at all the back and forth banter as to which product is better.
