Third Party-ers crank up your moulding/3D printing machines, and get colour matching - someone will get to sell a lot of pinhole fillers.

There is a dark humour to Hasbro being absolutely confident that they have nailed the Galvatron figure, and then misassembling the shoulders!

 

As a character galvatron is in my top 3 fav tfs so he's a must have.

Just wish he had been colored like marvel UK but I get the movie look color to go with scourge and cyclonus

 

Or... and hear me out... the shoulder isn't misassembled, but simply rotated 180 degrees? And the rest of the arm is rotated on the bicep to compensate?

 

It is assembled incorrectly unless they meant for the pins to be visible from the get go, which the render shows is not the case.

 

In these images, the battle damage looks almost like a desaturated purple tinged grey instead of the saturated blue on the leaked figures. Wonder if one of these was an early color, because though the blue grew on me, this looks much more natural. Could also just be the lighting used.

 

How many times the render shows incomplete stage of a figure?

In this case it seems pretty obvious which detail is ment to be the front, is it not? I'm definitely not trying to stir up a shit storm. I'll be getting two copies and will get the eventual 3p plug/added detail to cover the pin hole. All things considered I don't think it's something to worry too much about.

Absolutely misassembled. Still looks ok, and can of course be mistransformed with the pins facing forward but it is a bit of a let down and quite an oversight. Of course, this isn't the first time we're seeing a mass misassembly issue.

 

Except then the pins would be visible.

there isn't going to be one that's more accurate I believe, like how we aren't getting Cyclonus in ss86, from what we have heard we are getting the toy deco and a potential reformat version as well of Galvy

SS86 is complimentary to the wfc toyline. People only say they want a ss86 version of figures they don’t like ie Kingdom Galvatron Arcee and Ultra Magnus. But like Cyclonus is also Kingdom? Does that mean he’ll get a SS86 figure? Ofc not. Like how could you get more screen accurate than Kingdom Cylclonus??

 

Like if there's a SS86 version of Coronation Starscream coming out, I'm not waiting for it. I'm getting the RED version from Walmart upon release close enough. I bought a set of the 3 seekers off of Ebay for Christmas for $50 (the Deformation versions very sharp models I should add.) But they were way too difficult to transform. Leave Starscream in his jet mode and just get the RED version don't care if it transforms or not. The Optimus Prime model wasn't the best, but the Soundwave and Megatron models blow the original G1 models out of the water if you don't care about transforming them. But yeah I'm getting this Galvatron upon release he will look perfect with Earthrise Scorponok along with the new models of Scourge and Cyclonus.

 

I don't have any interest or use for any Transformer that doesn't live up to it's namesake.

 

Isn't it right that you can also angle the arms/treads further apart to lower the front part of the cannon (so you can potentially angling down)? It doesn't look like these supports are locked in at the shoulders. It seems like there are differences of the "arm/tread" angles in different photos.

To be fair, unless you are posing hot rod laying down horizontally; i don't think you'll need to lower the cannon so far for a photo. I'm not sure if hot rod is really that short compare to the galvatron cannon.

 

What a surprise, Hasbro makes a good looking figure, and ducks it up right before release...... a weirdly common trend these days.....
