Well I guess you must like legends scale. I personally dont. I want less of a toy and more of an adult collectible without having to deal with oversized and overpriced MP scale. CHUG scale WFC fits that bill.

 

I wish they kept the original scorponok transformation but just made it show accurate and remove the stinger gimmick. The bot legs on the original were much better.

 

and watch to see how many fans are pissed that its a retool remold? cause it seems that shared parts are a sin in the fandom anymore

 

I was thinking the same.

My guess is that we’ll get a pack-in cardboard diorama that teletran fits with. The size is a little odd with the keyboards being just above his knees. He’ll be too large for core classes, and just a little too small for deluxes... I think? Not sure.

 

Actual BW show cast, and looks less obviously like a toy than his predecessor. I'm on board.  

Though I do wish a little more effort was made to conceal the new cyber bee. Right now it just amusingly looks like Scorponok's one claw just happens to be where some random insect chose to set up house. "Oh her? Don't mind her, she pays half my rent to be in my claw."

Also unintentionally funny is the shot of the Ark in the mountain. "New play feature: you can bury it!"

Im sure the 3D print guys or 3rd party will take care of that hollow spot. I dont see any Decepticon symbols. I do see shapes that could be used to put a Decepticon symbol though. So hopefully that means we get a Nemesis retool.

 

I noticed both a Removable panel that that tower is attached to, and then another panel that flips up beside it. Wondering if that's part of leg transformation, or Storage for figures/accessories?

 

Would be cool if Dr. Wu does a more articulated and transformable bee along with missiles for Scorponok.

 

i think its safe to assume the paint apps are final, the best way to tell is whether or not the protos are fully painted, for example compare the finish of the ark and teletran, the former is painted yellow while the latter is yellow plastic so i'd expect tweaks to the color detailing on the ark.

the panel is only present on once side so it's probably not a storage gimmick, it looks like the bridge of the ship folds inside that leg

 

Eh, they may be the correct length but the feet are just little stumps, plus the legs are too skinny, although "stubby" may not have been the right word.
