    :(
I think it takes very little 'force' (minimal) either on the screen, tortional or clipping into the backpack (if not lined up) to stress it. I have transformed mine less than 10 times, but clearly put something wrong somewhere. Mind how you go :)

I got one in from Mandarake last month and he's been through multiple transformations. He's been a desk bot of sorts. Don't see any issues with the clear plastic? Not sure if it's a reissue or the first batch because it's from Mandarake though it's probably a reissue since it was unopened.

For anyone that does have cracks in the windshield, maybe you could get the cell shaded stickers from reprolabels to cover it up? Won't fix it but at least the cracks aren't visible anymore.

Yup, thanks. Im fine with the tint. Im not into any slavish accuracy, I just want them to look good and this, to me, does (close enough).

re: the windshield... I haven't seen that on my Cordon yet, but I'm pretty sure all of my G1 figures looked like that 30 years ago. I just think of it as normal wear and tear - nothing lasts forever.

How do you transform the windshield? The way Emgo shows feels comfortable, doesnt seem stressed on the back. Or does it crack still?

I followed the instructions that came with the figure, and it seemed logical, and unstressed. It can crack, it seems, with some stress, but others have reported cracks even with minimal stress and following videos.

For me the biggest issue is some people transforming the rear spoiler incorrectly and having the two halves facing the wrong direction. You want the spoiler halves with the tabs that connect them to each other facing down in bot mode. That leaves the smaller side of the spoiler halves facing up and it allows more space for the windshield. The first time I ever transformed this figure I had the spoiler halves the wrong way and it put crazy stress on the windshield. It didn't feel right so I looked into it and now there's no stress at all.

The other thing to do is to use the ab crunch hinge to swivel the waist and legs away from the windshield when transforming. That gives you way more space to rotate the windshield and puts less stress on it. Mine is a first run copy and the windshield is perfect. Same with Cordon and Spinout.

To risk it breaking. I took it off the figures and stored away in case I want to transform them someday. Its not very visible in robomode, so I can live with such partsforming.

So I decided today that my transformers shelf was getting overcrowded. So I boxed up some figures including Sunstreaker, Ratchet and Bluestreak.

And let me tell you that by the time I was done the song stuck in my head was “one of these things is not like the other“

Ratchet and bluestreak were so intuitive that I could transform them all by myself and it was fun. But Sunstreaker? I had to watch more than one video to figure out how to do it and it was still scary.

Not to sound like an old man but I wish masterpiece figures would go back to their early engineering. Yes the new ones are more accurate to be certain but the old ones were fun to transform and to me that’s the reason I like Transformers. LOL!

I agree with you on Sunstreaker. I don't find his transformation intuitive. I have to use a manual or a video to transform him. And last time I transformed him from robot to car mode, I broke a door off by accident. :(  Need to replace him now. I don't think all the new Transformers are difficulty to transform though. Hound and Arcee for example are both very intuitive and easy to transform. Hound might not be a good purchase now due to the plastic issues, but Arcee is a must have if you ask me.

sorry to hear about your problems with sunstreaker. You literally lived my worst fear with these masterpiece figures.

I wish I had an opinion on Hound’s transformation but by the time I received him the word had already spread about how fragile the plastic was. So putting him into robot mode terrified me so much that I didn’t get to really appreciate the engineering at all. I was to laser focused on just getting him into a robot mode without breaking him. And once I got him transformed I put on my shelf and I never wanted to touch him again. :(

Finally getting this to replace Sunsurge. Just going by pics and YouTube reviews, it looks absolutely stunning.

Hope you enjoy it. I loved the mold so much that I bought Cordon and Spinout as well as Sunstreaker.

Should be getting MP Sunny in the mail with the wave 2 Kingdom leaders from RobotKingdom and Robotoybase respectively,

Any qc issues I need to look out for on Sunstreaker? Besides the windshield cracks?

Not really a QC issue, but be aware that it will probably make you consider buying Cordon and Spinout too! It’s a fantastic mold and all variations look amazing.
