I agree with your latter sentiment and I am almost certain that's the case. It's actually genius. And it worked on me sooooo..... I imagine TT will make a lot of money on this maneuver. Many of us MP collectors got into the game way after the previous seekers came out and would love to have all 3. This is fine for me because I love TT products and am happy to support them. These Jets are going to look really awesome together
Could be a combination of "Hey these three will collectively sell better when released close to each other" and also "It's the same figure, same mould, let's just build it all at once so we can toss it in storage." If they do the cone boys I'd expect the same rapid succession.

It's just smart to release them all in a year guys. They are literally on top of each other (release date wise) and keeps the momentum/excitement going. I expect the same with the Cone-heads and everything else that shares a mold, TBH. It's just better this way instead of waiting 2 years for each release.
Yeah I got into the MP game late, so of the core 3 Seekers only ever got Starscream because of his rerelease. So this strategy of releasing them in quick succession is absolutely working for me lol. (Also got 2 of the Coneheads and Hasbro's Sunstorm and not sure how quickly I'd want to replace them though..) Just waiting on Pulse to put him up and I'll be ordering ASAP.

Skywarp is looking good although I am confused as to why he includes the Megatron gun that Thundercracker omits, and yet is slightly cheaper? Hope it’s not because they skip paint or anything. Either way I’ll preorder him as soon as he’s listed at a3u and we’ll all find out together
My mind is kinda blanking rn, haha, are the Seekers using faux cockpits in bot mode? Either way, i'm more than anything chalking this up to an internal error until we get in-hand photos (which if we remember Thundercracker, his came out pretty soon after his reveal). So maybe we'll see an answer around the corner? Was almost thinking that the cockpit piece used in Skywarp's photos MAY have been originally a part of an earlier prototype, but that seems a bit farfetched. Definitely would seem out of left field for Skywarp to have a differently handled cockpit in comparison to his cohorts, and I too hope that it's just an error of some sort. Oooooh that DOES look really good... C'mon Has/Tak, bring that shit overseas! I think I can say with strict confidence that this certainly will not be the case. We did get a mention of Skyfire being in development recently. Pay extra attention to Skyfire over Jetfire, by the way. Basically confirmed that he's going to be cartoon-accurate, aside from the possible legal ramifications that would come into play if they decided to upon some random whim, repaint Starscream into Jetfire. That being only one hurdle in a situation that seems to spiral from there. Yeah, I stopped buying MPs from them after only just one, haha. This being one reason why I stay domestic, aside from having a safety net from QC issues. They're my #1 choice for Figuarts DBZ stuff though. After seeing the original JPY price for Skywarp, I totally imagine the ensuing tempt, haha. Happy birthday, by the way!
The only MP Decepticons that came with a Megatron gun were the ones who held him in the cartoon: Starscream, Skywarp and Soundwave. The only other MP figure who came with a Megatron gun was MP-01/04/10 since Optimus also welded Megatron in the cartoon.
The fact they're releasing all three core Seekers within the year brings me so much joy. This was the smartest play they could have made. Instant pre-order, I absolutely cannot wait to have all three on my shelf together.

You and me both. Was too late in the game to grab the Maketoys ones, and I was sure as hell not gonna touch the MP-11s, so these not only coming out but also one-upping everything that came before it is truly a sight to behold.
