Did this ever make it to Thingiverse? I had a look but couldn’t see it. I have the oversized Black Mamba version and I’d like to separate Pax with something like this. I’ve got my 3D printer all set up ready, and I’m happy to cobble together a design for myself, but I really like this one, if there’s any chance it’s available somewhere.

Thanks! Did the job perfectly. If anyone’s interested, to fit the OS version this needs scaling up by around 37-38%.

AD09AC49-5243-456E-9E3A-47EBF889198C.jpeg That’s the back panel and the wheels in place. The wedge that goes in the middle needs a little filing to fit. No fault of the model, my printer just got a bit carried away on the bottom layer and there’s a ridge I need to remove. The wheels are awesome! I didn’t expect them to move!

One thing, what’s the block with the peg on top for? I couldn’t figure out where that went.

Ah, that's a combiner wars to 5mm male peg slot, probably should remove it from this file.

This is great, nice job guys! I have both the Hasbro and the oversized version. I'm hoping to get a good mod kit for my oversized, so far I've already added MPP10 BB7-EP01 hands and they're the perfect size for it.

The perfect size for Optimus or Pax? I'm guessing Optimus. I could do with a good set of fists for Pax, his are a bit crap. Plus they're stuck in that weird angled pose that makes him look like a body builder. I wish they'd stop doing that, nobody has a 45 degree angle between the back of their hand and their wrist, that's just silly.

Haha, very true. I totally agree with you on the hand designs Hasbro does. At the same time, they have a sales/production initiative that they continue to go by, and it seems it will never end, but then it's left up to the professioal modders to come after them and make awesome improvements, which I personally have no problem with. The hands on my Pax are not yet replaced, though I need to do that. Yes the hands are for Optimus like you said. I love it and it looks great. I'll let you know what I end up using for my Pax.

These parts are designed for FDM printing tolerances, not for shapeways. Also, the thread is over 18 months dead.

So the upload fails when uploading to shapeways, not a valid printable part via shapeways. The files are still availible to download off of tinkercad, 3D design PaxPrime Upgrades | Tinkercad

I've often thought that all that trailer needs is a single sheet of styrene over the top to make it look passable. This project has sparked my interest! Nice work!

Interesting. Do you think you could separate the models out by color? I'd like to give this a print but I'd likely want to print each of the parts out in a different color of plastic.

In tinkercad click Sign Up To Copy, Already have an account? Sign in, Sign In with Social media providers.

you can sign in with facebook, google, yahoo, microsoft, or apple. or autodesk if you have that.

Once you are signed in, click Copy and Tinker.

It'll take a moment to load the model from it's base primitives.

Inside tinkercad you can click any individual piece and export it's STL. If you double click it, you can manipulate it's previous layer of primitives.

You can shift+click a couple of items to download them together for the same buildplate.

Only reason I'm not just doing it for you is because it's really easy to learn if you give it a try, and I'd really like to see more folks give it a try.
