He really looks the part but we knew that already. What's really surprising is just how tight all the joints are, even compared to the previous release. Genuinely the tightest TF in WFC and I've bought a few  



Was blown away by how cool the bandolier looks, they knew exactly what they were doing with that. Because...



...the new figure is only slightly shinier. And tbh that could just be a production run thing. It's barely any different, I just wanted another for this mode:



Shiny tank ftw! The main difference is the blue on the barrel of course. That's about it in real terms.

While me and Dobbie got lucky only nabbing what we wanted from the pack, there's no point in pretending Megs is the draw here. I just wanted a slightly funkier H tank to go with the others. For most people this set would need to drop to a minimum of £50 if you already owned Megs. The bandolier's cool but not strictly essential, the All Spark is a literally tiny after thought and it's kinda the same with the other accessories I'd wager.

So, wait for a sale or be prepared to take what you want from the set and flog the rest, but taken as his own thing Ooooh, Matrix! remains possibly the best Megs in WFC.

 

Nice work. I used that same figure for Sureshot, but used the old fansproject firebolt targetmaster, the slot for the Rodimus spoiler fits the dragstrip spoiler perfectly. What did you use to drill the hole? I've been wondering about doing some stuff like that for some customs but I never know which drill to use that won't chew up the plastic. Was it hand or electric?

To be fair, he’s now opened a case and photos are attached.... appears that I’ve finally been dealt a naff hand by Hermes.... it looks like it was either delivered to an incorrect address first or spent the night at the couriers address.... where it appears that a dog has got hold of it and chewed it to death, it’s been re-packed and then delivered to the buyer. He’s sending it back and I will be refunding. Lesson learnt, Royal Mail from here on out.

Really hoping for some Autobot Target Masters. Or just a rerelease of the Decepticon ones - I never managed to get a Slugsinger and Misfire was a pain to get.

 

The was enjoying the Netflix line a lot - and I for one love me some battle damage. But damn it, there’s nothing in Wave 3 that interests me at all. So the completist in me is struggling with the realist, but I think I have to skip this one and concentrate on things I do actually want!

So does this mean the preorders from early feb are likely to be treated the same way as SS86 Hotrod and Scourge?

 

I think I'll actually use Pulse for those, the Box stands a good chance of being mint and they are likely to get them first of course.

 

Anyone else waiting on scourge from kapow? I'm cool, I can wait, I don't want to hound them for answers, just want to make sure I haven't missed out! I was late to pre order him so I may just be one of the unlucky ones waiting for the order to be fulfilled.

 

If Kapow hadn’t insisted on full payment back in Feb, I would put a preorder in with Hasbro. As you said, they’ll probably get ‘em first!

 

Electric rotary tool aka dremmel did it bit by bit using pointed sanding tools working up to a 5mm drill so as not to chew up the plastic.

That's great news on the rainmakers for those looking for them. Never thought they would see the light of day for that price again.

Shout out to @SJW for holding and sending a box of stuff. MP10v trailer so my Nova now has a combat deck (he drives with the drone sticking out the top to differentiate himself from the more peaceful Optimus), Black Roritchi so now all my city bots have two drones with them, and SS86 Scourge and Hot Rod. Gonna be great to have the three standing tall and proud as voyager. Hot Rod looks awesome, though he has some paint bleed on his lower chest under his headlights. Haven't opened them yet, so don't know if there's any more, but paint spill like this seems to be happening more lately. I may have to get some of that alcohol to remove it (as well as on Black Arachnia and the battle damage from Seige Springer). Could do Astrotrain too. Anyone got any advice on it? Does it have to be the 91% strength? Would these pads work or does it have to be liquid on a pad?

Slightly disappointed that, if the 4Chan/Reddit Kingdom leak stays as bang on as it has thus far, Slammer may end up being Wave 4 but at least there's Tracks in Wave 3 (and Fings crossed a Selects Road Rage in the pipe to boot)!
