Is the X-3 a web exclusive? Hoping it is so that I can skip preorder madness for it. Don't care for the diaorama, sucks that it is increasing its cost. Just smdh cause its going to be an expensive preorder night with the TRI-Star Zaku going up too, and the need to buy 3 of them.
The x-3 is a b pandai, but the black tri stars zaku is a retail release so at least you won't have to pay for them until August. I wonder if the arms on that base will have articulation.

Heyoooo, it looks like EVA 02 2020 survived the storm and isn't on the bottom of the ocean. I'll be curious what happens once the ship hits the states and they inspect the actual boxes. I'll be curious if I'll have a 02 on my shelf or cash back in my wallet. What a bizarre set of circumstances for this release.
After handling the ThreeZero Eva, now I feel every Metal Build and GFFMC is way overpriced. I'd still complete the Wing, 00, and Seed/Destiny lineup (not Astray or Exia variants) if they ever get more unique releases but at the speed it is going, the older releases would have probably crumbled away when these lines get completed. Lol!
Apparently the Metal Build Eva 01 and 02 are getting a reprint. The pre-orders already came and went silently, nothing on the Tamashii website about it. HLJ's already order stopped on both.
Probably for Japan only. They also did the same for the Dynaction. Although, I can't imagine them doing that here in the USA. Unit 02 lingered in retail for a very long time. I think it may still be available at retail. The reissue of the Unit 01 remained in-stock for quite some time as well. So far, I feel the ThreeZero Robo-dou is superior to the Metal Build with the exception with accessories but still, the Robo-dou is cheaper as well.
Oh wow that’s odd I wonder why or is it because that the 2020 Eva 1 wast meant to coincide with the movies original release date but then it got pushed back so they did a 2020 Eva 2 for the new release date and it got pushed back again so they pretty much just said ‘f**k it’ and decided to do this with all of the recently released evangelion toys
