Explain me this: I search the exact same thing, same line as the link text and my Ebay app find no result. If I watch the seller store, it's just empty, as the one posted before. So, what's happening?

I hope too. I think, if they are gonna reissue GT 10, it should be normal paint, with tech some improvement here and there

Also, if you're viewing eBay.COM from outside the US, seller's stores will usually be inaccessible. You're best going direct to .com and doing a search from there.

I was a late adopter to this figure, so I finally snagged him last month from eBay seller "beenkeend." Shipping is something like $60, but the package shipped to me in the fastest time imaginable from China to the US. It took only one week for me to receive GT-10. $200 shipped was entirely worth it for me, especially since the usual websites no longer carry this figure. Also, I doubt GT will re-release this guy, seeing as how the first issue took a very long while to sell out. Even GT-10A is difficult to sell.

It's a damn shame because I absolutely LOVE this figure. I am hoping they do the nemesis prime version with the sword but seeing as you mentioned they don't sell well then I doubt it

I hope that doesn't deter them from making more T-Beast figures, because I have their Great White Ape and Red Bull and I quite enjoy both of them. I've been looking forward to their supposedly upcoming Hot Rod; DX9's Ancestrod is just so disappointing on so many fronts.

I don't follow - if he's difficult to sell (the 10A) then why is he out of stock everywhere?

Are we talking about the same thing???? 10A is White Ape. He is in stock at The Chosen Prime and TF Source, the first two places I checked.

    Generation Toy GT-10A WHITE GORILLA

    https://tfsource.com/generation-toy/gt10a-gorilla/chrome-white-version/

I am not going to check any other sites as I think I proved my point. GT is trying to recoup the costs of this mold, as the regular release (GT-10) took like, what, two years to sell out of its initial batch...?

    Edit: I also checked A3&U...they still have 10A: https://www.agesthreeandup.com/generation-toy-gt-10a-gorilla-chrome-white-version/

Anyhow, GT seems to have all but abandoned T-Beasts at this point. GT-10, 10A, and Red Bull were commercially underwhelming. DX-9 was first to release T-Beast Hotrod, to a lukewarm reception (you can still find him too...just use "search"). TT Hongli's Starscream is not even carried by some e-tailers (BBTS, for example). Tiger Hornet is the strange exception, perhaps in part due to his lower cost (I got him for $60 new).

At the end of the day, T-Beast figures only satisfy a small demographic of people in a hobby that is already a niche, as T-Beast is fan-fiction of G1-universe characters with robotic beast modes. And even then, some people were all worked up about the creators not getting compensated for their original T-Beast designs.

This is bad. The artists should get compensated for the designs. Always. Period.
I thought they worked together, with some sort of arrangement. If that's the case, then it's a real theft and the T Beast figures shouldn't be buy. Now I think I'll cancel all orders made, from dx9 ancestrod to TE wasp tiger. If I was aware of this situation, I would never have made the order, having been a photographer to whom some online magazines stole the work...

Leonideas was based on artwork from an earlier IDWs Beast Wars comic and came out before the T-Beasts books existed.

tomato tomoto I'm hold Leonidas in my hand and the idw beast wars comic in my other hand while looking at the t-beast art on my computer. And there's a lot, a lot taken from the t-beast artwork that's not on the idw leoconvoy art. And vice versa. Leonidas is definitely And mixture of the two.

Right. I always forget about them, because I don't particularly like PE and specifically I find Leonidas to be ugly aesthetically, there is something wrong on his hips and upper part of the legs in robot mode, the beast mode is kinda horrible and cannot stand properly, at least the copy that a friend gave to me for photos purposes was unstable and floppy.

I remember idw Lio Convoy look been different from PE Leonidas look, but I might be wrong.

Very different, but I'm tired of someone always having to disagree or argue my comments. So now before I comment I do all the research and take pictures just to prove my point when someone always has to put their two scent in. Lol it's so annoying honestly.

Your right very different then the Idw beast war art. Screenshot_20210405-114008_Samsung Internet.jpg Screenshot_20210405-113913_Samsung Internet.jpg

Pe Leonidas was most definitely inspired by the T-beast art more then the idw beast war art.

PE Leonidas came out years before the T-Beast artbooks. Unless PE's designers have the ability to see into the future, it's more likely the T-Beast artists were inspired by PE Leonidas than PE ripping off a T-Beast design.

T-Beast 2 Book, where this design comes from, with a stated release date in 2016: T-BEAST 2

PE Leonidas thread, with discussion beginning in 2014: Perfect Effect Leonidas (Lio Convoy)

Why do we have people talking about PE here? PE's Leonidas came way before the release of T-Beast books. Though, some of the "designers" were likely related or have submitted their designs for the T-Beast compilation. Please note, the T-Beast book was a collection of designs from different people. Though, that specific pic that was being referenced is not that of PE's. It's still a mix of TF and Zoids.

As for compensating the T-Beast artists, that ship has long sailed. No need to linger on it.

The art was out on online sites like deviant art before they were submitted for the collect for the books were ever made. I stop using deviant art after high school in 2012 the Leonidas artwork used for the book is in my like files, and this.is from 2012.

Yeah I was referring to this artwork that appeared in a different part of the same comic.
