Kuma and Peaugh has their copy so go and check it out on their on Youtube page. So maybe a mash of the Karios and the J-20 together. Bot mode is another story...
Just a note, the canards are actually meant to face the opposite direction to that picture, but it looks weird that way.
Hey guys, I'm about to inherit some money from my late dad's accounts. I'm considering finally getting a transformable YF or VF-19, particularly the one that Isamu flew. What would be the best place to find one?
The DX Chogokin version seems to be the best one. It ain't cheap, especially these days, but is overall better.
The Arcadia Version YF-19 just got reissued and is available for preorder. Some shops have or if you use a proxy, you can get the PF (Premium Finish) version that has additional tampos. The other YF-19 last released was the Bandai DX version. You can read about the differences at anymoon.com. I have both and like them about equally. My Arcadia is the non PF version so the Bandai has more printed on details but I don’t care too much about that. The Arcadia engineering fit and materials feel better to me but not a huge deal. I’d say get whatever you can get the better deal on and if you just got yourself a fat wallet and don’t care, get the Arcadia PF version.

IMO the Bandai DX Full Set is the best way to go. Sooooooooooo many accessories. And a very solid figure. Not that I don't like the Arcadia though. None currently in stock at Mandrake. But you could put yourself on the alert list. The last one sold for 28K. Not too shabby. Shipping will be about $75. Yet another question for you wise masters; is the Arcadia Roy Focker Special VF-1S (the one that comes with the strike pack) a good buy? Or would it be better to save a bit more and go for the DX? Oh, is the Valkyrie Factory VF-1S worth the price? I watched Bots and Bits' review and the hip bar was installed backwards...
I've got all of these. The Arcadia is a nice pack because it comes with S&S parts. But they fetch a pretty good price now. Not a whole lot less than a DX. It's also 1/60 (the DX is 1/48) so if size matters to you....it matters. I myself don't like the Arcadia sculpt in Battroid AT ALL. I sum it up with "Do you even lift bro?". It's weak looking compared to the DX or 1/48 Yamato's. And the DX is beefier than the Yamato by a smidge. The Arcadia quality is top notch. The Valkyrie Factory VF-1S is not a bad unit. Not the quality of the Arcadia, but the quality isn't what I would call bad. If you can get one with S&S parts for about $150-180 it's not a bad option. The DX is king as far as I'm concerned. Big, beefy, crazy pose-able, well engineered, lots of tampo printing, etc.
Would depend on pricing, how much are you able to get them for? Also is articulation a preference for you? The Arcadia VF-1 is less prone to problems down the line and the way it attaches the FAST packs is more secure. You also get removable booster covers to reveal the micromissles and removable outer leg armor. A bit less articulation compared to the DX VF-1(no sideways rocker/ankle tilt, waist swivel nor drawer joint below the intake). In this case I’d like to know the price.
What problems have the DX's developed down the line? I don't agree even a little. I call it a tie. The DX leg armor is removable. -Arcadia - About $300 shipped. -DX w/ packs and missiles - About $550 shipped. Well worth the $250 difference to me if not just for the size and far superior DX sculpt.

Might get lucky and catch it under 16k-17k yen (or even less) new/box-damaged conditions from time to time.
All five of them? Out of a production run of how many? An Arcadia has never broken? Come on man, there are no verifiable statistics to base anything on. That's not what he said. The DX's do the same thing. I am working off of what I was able to find right now. Manda's least expensive option is 22K. I didn't see anything on Ami (I may not be searching right) Mandarake Online Shop I just got a quote through Mandy for 9,130y. More like $282 assuming you don't get banged by PP on the conversion rate. You're also muddying the waters by comparing new, damaged boxes and used pricing.
We all go by reports that were, well, reported in various sites. If you want more stats, you will have to do your own research with all the import shops, media, and whatever. Not as easily. You'll have to really seriously pry out the glued cover from the DX. I'm not. There are non-scalped New/Damaged from Ami and other shops that shows up from time to time at lower than MSRP. "Used" items are used items, and they're almost always scalped pricing.
It's your argument. The onus is on you to bring the facts. That falls under the definition of "comes off". You made the argument they didn't. You are. The DX pricing I quoted is MISB. If you want to make a 1:1 price comparison the playing field has to be level.
