You've always been in my corner man.

Best to use the mud from the goal of a local footie pitch after a pub team has played the day after a proper session. Thgry always put the fat bastards like me in goals which means the mud has been well walked and possibly dashed with vomit. That mixture does wonders for your skin.

The hallmark of any good bot! I will say while I'm Not mad keen on BM toys, I do love the updates strika and obsidian got in botcon.

And on the third day he rose again...
    PicsArt_04-04-09.04.27.jpg

A smidgen less blasphemous than my original plan of having him on a cross, with whirl and sideswipe at the side making a crack about NAILs. Maybe next year :p

:D  Awesome, and thanks! A friend as a kid actually had all three (plus overlord) of the UK releases, so I have fond memories of em too - other than us having been totally confused over the ‘sorta there’ combiner stuff...

Happy belated birthday! And what a birthday card!!

Invoices paid with SAF & C&C so Classified Series Zartan and 3 Cobra Infantry will arrive this week.

Gotta sort out a Detolf shelf for Mando & The Child to go on which I'll do tomorrow as I need to dust my Detolf displays anyway.

Had a look where the battery cover on MP Barneytron is before the football earlier but couldn't seem to get the screw moving so I left it and will have another go tomorrow.

Would a little WD40 on a cotton bud and pressing right down with the screwdriver help? Assuming that won't punch the screw through the plastic, of course! Just be careful not to (further) thread the screw top or it's housing.

Some starcom pics. Meant to look chaotic as the shadow force are trying to free emperor dark and starcom have been caught napping.

Unfortunately the yellowing plastic is a problem but do have some nice pieces.

You have to feel sorry for Magnus :lol

    GIVE YOU HIS FAAAACE!

    Well said!

Ah, I did wonder if he had a head in the cockpit.
I seem to recall reading on TFWiki doesn't the toy Tankor actually more closely resemble Tankor's drones? I really need to watch BM some day...
Speaking of Cybertronian bikes, reminds me of T30 Chromia who judging by relative size to Windblade in the Windblade miniseries is not remotely bike sized and really more of a two wheeled 'car'. I think she's a cool Cybertron mode too, I think she has vaguely circuitry pattern stuff on her 'window' too which is a detail I like on a few of the Siege figs :)

    This I gotta see!

Thanks, I think IDT are who I have my pre-order of Scarlett with.

Magic. So much play value in starcom. Those star max bombers were unending fun. Every few months I have to beat down the urge to start collecting vintage starcom stuff.

    @Siege Fan,
I can give it a go, the screw head still has a visible pattern on it so I've not buggered that but I just can't seem to get it moving whereas the ones for the batteries in his head for the light up eyes seem to be easier to get moving.

Whilst not having the voice clips wouldn't kill the figure it'd still be a shame if I couldn't access them as the KO adds English clips to the Japanese ones of the legit version. I can hear them on a review of course but it's still not the same as actually being able to do them on my toy.

On a brighter note I have managed to get the halves of the head with the battery compartment and the swappable face sections perfectly together now and have sussed out how the hip disks tab in so they aren't constantly moving around.

    @doucoo,
Nice Starcom collection!, I never had any as a kid but a friend did and I always liked the small white fighter that fitted onto the big pointy ship. The magnetic figures and motorised features on the vehicles were also really cool.

Thanks, but it sounds like the KO is visibly different from the original and I know what the original looks like so I should be okay for seeking one out! :)

CW Kup works! :D  I have a couple of extra CW Hounds (just need one more and I can make a Houndbiner) and was thinking of somehow making them be Rack and Ruin but it's easier to just find the Cyberverse one. :D

BBTS have Redwing up at $45 and I was considering it because he's fantastic as a bot... but the colour choices on the alt just look like Elmo got origamied :(

It's kinda sorta backwards. The original toy of tankor looked only barely vaguely like his show look. Thrust wasn't screen accurate either, but to a much lesser degree. They later released a smaller tank drone and bike drone that looked very screen accurate. On the show, tankor and thrust are identical to their drones except for a little paint detailing here and there, so one could very easily use the tank and bike drone toy as the generals instead. To me, the generals may not be screen accurate, but thw toys sure are fun.

Jetstorm and his drone just got a straight repaint of each other. The cockpit is the head and can spring forward on a neck so he can look around, like the second pic i took. I'll take a pic of him from the side and one od tankor wearing his fez tomorrow.

If you like deep, philosophical shows that also feature some cool action scenes, go for it. I know bm isn't for everyone and i can see why, but give it a shot. In terms of writing and plots, it's one of the heaviest tf shows out there. It also introduces a fembot we still haven't had in any plastic form at all. But it's only 26 episodes total, so give it a go and see what you think.

Aye, t30 chromia is a sweet cybertron mode too. Can't remember now about her tech detailing, i do remember her wheels are meant to be floating away from the body which is a nice touch.

Sounds like the wind is picking up. Hopefully won't be bad weather tomorrow.

Opened window to get some fresh air. Curtains attempted to shove me out of my chair. Wind now making noises like Chewbacca Beowulfing a Wampa. Super sunny though, hurrah!

Contestants from other planets are ready for the next Space Olympics.

I like this deco for a carnosaur, as kids' books used to use it when I was a kid. :)

You: The perfect Transformers robot mode doesn't exist.

    I, an intellectual:

Fun fact, the 10 seconds it took to take this picture is the longest this bastard has stood unassisted. Look at these non-feet.

Nice tank mode though. Pity the robot mode looks like G2 Megatron got a water tower pregnant. And the water tower was his cousin.
