I could see it. Make streetwise and groove smaller than first aid and blades and then do some partsforming to build out the back of their leg modes. It's not like SW's vertical car leg mode looks good anyway.

This guy looks great and I can\'t wait to get him. I do think the 20 inch size is a bit big but oh well. In my opinion not all combiners should automatically be the same size. If they are a team of smaller, regular cars/trucks then they should equal a smaller combined form. If they are massive constructicon equipment or huge jets or have another member to the team then they get bigger accordingly, but all of that starts to fall under the \"what is the right scale\" topic and that\'s just a mess. I think Defensor and Menasor should be the smaller of the combiners and equal since their makeup of vehicles is very close, aside from the motorcycle.

As someone who owns the Zeta combiners and the TW of Devy, yes Monolith height wise, is in scale for the most part with those combiners.

Where TW/Zeta do differ is that their individual bots are larger than Xtb’s. The limbs. But Monolith scales just fine and I’m sure Xtb Defensor will too.

It's funny how someone giving a subjective opinion is trolling. Yet people doing personal attacks on someone with a different opinion isn't trolling. A figure fitting in someones collection can be subjective based on poses and the other figures in the shot. In my S2 decepticons shelf, posed standing next to Zeta Bruticus, Dx9 verison is a small as I would want. So putting Monolith there with the same pose, for me, it's to small. For others it would be fine for them and that's great. If that was my only choice it I would think it "looks fine" to.

I have TW coneheads standing in for now and alot of people say they are to big. Posed in my shelf I think they "look fine" , but I don't act trashy, personally attacking others that say they are to big. Its their opinion, I don't need to be butt hurt, it doesn't have to match mine.

I'm glad Xtb is making their Defensor bigger so I have more options of what looks good to me.

@Ragnar454 the point being made isn't a difference of opinion, it is the same tired bullshit comments that are proven wrong by facts that are the issue. anyone that can read or even look at pictures would see that narrative they are trying to push is false, and when they are called on it we get snide, shitty comments in return.

Christ, every time I check this thread some nerd is shitting their pants over either centimetres or posting passive aggressive whining, it's like every X-Transbots thread is the Kup thread all over again with new issues. We haven't even had a first release yet, maybe everyone take a step back and see how it actually turns out.

Don't like the sculpt, great, MMC have you covered, don't like the height then go send death threats to Zeta demanding the robot be made to your specifications just god damn, take an ambian and grow up. I get the meme is we're man children but that doesn't mean we have to act like actual children, it's expensive plastic junk we don't actually need but would like anyway, you'd think this was the Roman Senate and we're discussing state issues and not bloody robots.

Thanks for that heartwarming statement. Now, let's get back to why Bastion isn't 52cm tall.

Torso looks over-simplified, which in turn looks cheap.

No one has a problem with subjective views on what they think looks good or what works for them. Great. What some of us take issue with is objective claims about those differences, like saying there is 2-3 inches difference or that there’s any kind of drastic difference in size which there sure isn’t. Especially when the people who are saying that have none of these figures and are just talking out their ass.

Plus who needs to come into a thread and loudly proclaim that they aren’t getting it for “all these reasons..”? so good? Who are you telling? Who does that help? No one.

Opinions are fine. No one will argue with you there. Some will prefer MMC Defensor and that's fine. Their money, their shelves.

However not all opinions are fact. In this case XTB Menasor looks perfectly fine scale wise with Zeta. That's not opinion, that's fact, as evidenced in many many pictures, some very recently from ppl who have been kind enough to quote you and show you.

That's it. Fin. Case closed. No arguments here with the evidence presented.

If you choose not to acknowledge that then that's your prerogative, but you can't call foul when others pull you up on a message forum where fans of toys and characters literally comb over and discuss every detail.

Looks cool to me. I had Defensor as a kid so have a strong connection.

Looks very much like a complete skeleton just like Menasor. Definitely some faux filler parts going on - those two van halves clearly don't just fit together - windows don't fit and it'd be more a bus than a van. I'd guess the lower part of the upper arm, the part with 'EM' on it, is a fake part as the chamfered edge doesn't fit up with the other half and it lacks the rail/strip detail running above the windows that the other parts have.

Similarly on Blades the red L shape of the part immediately below the elbow and down the inner forearm look like they'd be part of the skeleton. I expect the calves will have faux parts that appear to stretch out the leg bots to their impossible toon proportions.

Personally I'm good if this skeleton doesn't transform into anything - a fire engine doesnt need a giant trailer.

I think you are correct with the arms using filler parts to make them appear longer. Which may mean they will be the same size as the leg bots.

I'm wondering more how First Aid will match up to Ironhide/Ratchet in alt mode since they are supposed to be the same van. Would be cool if they are the same scale, but I think he should be carbot size in alt mode.

I'd suggest just not responding, since you were the one who came to this thread talking about the size issues. (IMHO)

I'm just gonna unfollow this thread and find pictures online. The discussion used to be good, but now it's just bitching and victim complexes. Grow up please, the world is unpleasant enough.

Definitely hoping that if the torso is a ZETA-style separate piece that there will be a Toy version offered at some point.

You put xtb menasor’s head on dx9 menasor’s body?

Well if they’re doing a toy version of menasor it only makes sense they’d do a toy version of defensor.
